Amazing! My husband and I went for dinner on Valentine's Day and we still can't stop talking about it. I'm writing this review specifically because I can't stop thinking about the Bucatini Aglio. This place stands out in that it doesn't feel like a "typical" Miami restaurant. The decor is beautiful and understated، the music low and complementary to the romantic/intimate vibe، and the food، while on the pricier side، was entirely worth every penny. The menu is smaller but intentional and everything felt very cohesive، so go in with an open mind or look at the menu before you go. The portions may look small، but I felt very satisfied after three courses and I feel like the smaller portions made me slow down to enjoy every bite and appreciate the freshness of the food. The service felt very intentional and personalized، from the hostess to the wait staff. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable، and I felt like she was genuinely happy for us when we told her we were enjoying our experience which was nice. I was also impressed at seeing the owners on the floor with the staff on what was an obviously very busy night، helping to bus tables and running the food and checking with patrons to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The cocktails and wines were also delicious. I honestly can't wait to go back. In the future، I would love to see a prix fixe menu with wine pairings.

Really nice place. They don’t have traditional Italian food so everything in the menu is original. We liked the pizza and the Gnocchis! The service could be better :) I think we had a new server. Nice place for a date

Coming from the Bahamas on a business trip، I wanted to surprise my wife with something different and take her somewhere truly special، and Altamura Trattoria e Forno exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived، we were welcomed warmly by the staff and by Massimo Tundo himself، although at the time I didn’t realize he was one of the owners. The atmosphere immediately felt authentic and inviting. The service throughout the night was absolutely amazing — quick، attentive، professional، and genuinely friendly. Every table seemed to be handled with care and efficiency. Our waiter was outstanding. I unfortunately can’t remember his name، but his knowledge and confidence were impressive. He took our entire order without writing anything down and guided us toward some incredible food choices that turned out to be absolutely delicious. What truly made the evening unforgettable was the experience at the end of the night. As we were leaving، Massimo came over and spent time speaking with me personally to make sure everything went well and that we enjoyed our experience. He shared a little background about himself and his wife، Elisabetta Tundo، explained the dishes we had ordered by name، how they were prepared، the ingredients used، and how everything is made fresh in-house. He told me that eating there is meant to feel like eating in Italy — and honestly، that’s exactly what it felt like. Elisabetta also came out to greet us before we left، and both of them made us feel genuinely appreciated and welcomed. It’s rare these days to find a restaurant that combines incredible food، authentic culture، and such sincere hospitality all in one place. This was more than dinner — it was an experience. Without question، Altamura Trattoria e Forno will become a regular stop anytime I travel to Miami.

Upon arrival the room is very inviting; elegantly decorated. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service was impeccable. The chef owner was out greeting guests and requested feedback on dishes after they were served. The food is was fantastic as were the cocktails. A very pleasant experience from beginning to end.

My wife and I had a great dinner tonight at Altamura. The whole vibe is super cozy، making it a perfect spot for a relaxed date night. The food was honestly delicious. We started with the veal tartare، which was incredibly fresh، and the beef involtini for the main was tender and full of flavor. Even the zucchini side dish was a standout. We topped it all off with dessert، and it was seriously amazing—definitely don't skip it! What really made the night، though، was the service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming، which is always a plus. If you’re looking for authentic Italian in a warm، unpretentious setting، this is the place. We’ll definitely be back soon.
