Anclote Key Island

Great place to stop and drop anchor just offshore. Water is great.

Had a good time on anchor. Peaceful first night and next day. Then a gnarly lightening storm without warning scared me on the second night. Rough، unprotected and wild ride till the morning. Super fun!

Anclote Island is amazing. Beautiful water، lots of fish and birds. The lighthouse is great، camped overnight here، was surreal.

Heaven on earth ! Take your boat on a weekday، park it there، walk beautiful white sand shore and forget the world. Best place to recharge and regenerate. Enjoy!💙

A true look at old Florida and what the natives loved so much about this land. As pure as I’ve ever seen in Florida. My family and I were changed for the better after this experience. Rick from Odyssey Cruises 🚢 taught me and my kids so much about the history of Anklote and how important it is to civilization. Apparently، Anklote was the true first settlement in the US but St Augustine was the first place called a city. 🤷🏻‍♂️
