Atlantic Everglades Levee

I am a little unhappy that I discovered it late because I am so attached to the place I live. Walking، cycling، fishing، sunset... It is a place that offers you many activities. Come with your car، park and enjoy the unique nature. If you want، bring your drink and chair and enjoy. Believe me، it is a place you will never regret and you will spend time with pleasure. Trust me. I went for a walk، drank my coffee at sunset، saw a lot of animals (crocodile، hawk، snake، racuun، many kinds of birds...) My only complaint is that people do not respect nature and throw garbage everywhere... Of course، I do not know what can be done about this.

Such an amazing & beautiful place! Great for walking and admiring nature. This is one of our top favorite places to watch the sunset. I recommend getting there early if you want to get a parking spot to watch the sunset. Expect to see abundant wildlife، including some alligators.

This is the best place to go to see the sunset. It comes out beautifully everytime. You see a lot of nature and animals too on the trail. It does get packed on the weekends but seeing all the family، friends، and pets is so special and heartwarming everytime

One of my favorite biking spots. Good for short rides or long ones. You can ride a 40+ mile trail loop (from the trailhead south to Markham، west to 27، north to the airboat place and east back to the trailhead) through the Glades and see hundreds of examples of Florida wildlife. Keep your eyes open; tons of gators، blue herons، dozens of different bird species، turtles and tortoises. The trails are not smooth but are well maintained gravel. Bring bug spray or you'll have a bad time.

We watched the beautiful sunset! Also saw little wading chicks. WOW this crocodile leapt totally out of the water and snapped on a low flying drone 😂😂 Probably broke a tooth on it but the drone won't fly again to bother him 😉
