Austin Historical

If you have a Historic Home you need this company! They are a wonderful source for information on repairing or on replacing casement or double hung windows. They built one of our casement windows (matching wood profiles) and repaired two others in our 103 year old bungalow in Downtown Orlando. We are very happy with our crew and these windows and original hardware never looked better.

We are so happy with our experience with Austin Historical from start to finish! From setting everything up with our advisor Doug، to the on site restoration work with Matt and Kat- the windows in our 1901 historic house have been brought back to life. They stripped، repaired، sanded، built new sashes، replaced the old ropes، repainted، and installed the windows with such care and attention to detail. We are thrilled to have them restored instead of replacing them. We highly recommend Austin Historical- they are experts in restoration and so friendly to boot. Thank you for the great work!

We placed storm windows on an 1856 Italianate home. It was a big job with four floors of coverage. The product Austn Historical produced met my expectations. The Acacia wood and tempered glass will serve this house for a generation at least. The crew that installed the 58 storm windows was on time، worked continously، and communicated continually with me as to their time line and schedule. I would recommend Austin Historical if you are seeking a storm window with the intention of protecting your existing historical windows from the elements. With low E glass، the interior fabrics and furnishings have an additional layer of protected from the rays of the sun. I'm grateful for their efforts and look forward to seeing how this product holds up over time.

Incredible operation. We have a home that was built in 1921 and wanted to keep the same aesthetic while also have operational windows. Doug came in and assessed all that was needed and we pulled the trigger. The site/project manager James was second to none in knowledge، courtesy، and service. I’m glad this company is here and employs the men they do. We have plenty more windows to do! Thank you team Austin Historical!

What an amazing team!! They really truly care، and take such pride in doing exceptional work. Nate and Cliff were such a joy to work with. They are both so passionate about being expert craftsmen. They replaced a few panes of broken glass in this window and you can’t even tell which is original and which was repaired! Thank you Nate and Cliff for your help and for keeping this historic building look as as beautiful as it did when it was built in 1884!
