Bar Chinchilla

It's the tiniest bar in all of St. Pete! But comes with a huge heart! I cant believe ive missed the gem all these years، its so cozy and feels like a somewhat fancy neighborhood dive bar! Their wince selection is quite unique for this city with many varieties and offerings id never heard of and want to try them all. Last visit there just happened to be a wine tasting with the people who ran the vineyard answering questions and giving information. It was a great value! The staff is out of this world! Jared، the bartender every time I have been is a wealth of knowledge! He effortlessly floats about the place (whether your sitting in or outdoors) minding empty glasses، checking to see if you and your party are OK and answering all questions. Don't know how one can keep it all in their head! Overall 5 stars all around. Ive made this place one of my favorite neighborhood haunts!

Stopped into this cutesy little shop this morning while on a walk with a coworker. We pass by all the time، but I’ve never been in. Apparently they’re usually a wine bar and recently started serving coffee. GREAT IDEA! Because today I had the Chinchilla Signature and that little beverage has been the highlight of my day. I shall absolutely return!

Great hidden gem. Didn’t get his name but the bar tender was very knowledgeable about the assortment of wine. Fair pricing as well. We will definitely be back. It appears that they have wine tastings every week as well. Check it out.

Went to the smallest bar in st pete. I was expecting a more cozy place. They can definitely do better with environment. I went at 4 when the open bottles of wine is 25% off. The bar tender didn’t greet us with s smile and couldn’t get out the special wines available when we asked. Just didn’t feel welcoming but it may have just been a bad day for her. We went to Cerviche after this and were treated very well so we ate and drank all night there instead.

Reservation for the Italian Wine Tasting، sat at the bar، staff and of course the vine rep were very knowledgeable، engaging bar mates، interesting wines made for an enjoyable evening. Bar and table seating inside as well as out side patio/sidewalk tables.
