Review for Agent Drew Kern working for Berkshire Hathaway home services . As the buyer of a home in Palmetto Bay، my experience dealing with Drew، the seller’s agent، was disappointing. The property was marketed with features that I later discovered were not accurately represented. The listing described hand-crafted marble flooring، yet portions of the flooring were not marble. Other flooring was represented as wood but was actually laminate. These were material features of the home that influenced its perceived value. Even more concerning، an outdoor kitchen area that was prominently featured in the listing photos was removed before closing. Rather than ensuring that the property was delivered as advertised or negotiating a fair resolution، the seller refused to provide compensation for the removal of these improvements. When questioned، I was told that the outdoor kitchen was “unserviceable” and that its removal was somehow a favor to the buyer. After that he said that is personal property and the seller could take it . This directly conflicted with my understanding of the property’s condition and the way it had been marketed. I will be posting listing photos، photographs of the property، and communications related to this transaction so others can review the facts for themselves. Purchasing a home is one of the largest investments most people will ever make. My advice is to verify every advertised feature independently، document everything in writing، and never assume that what appears in the listing will be present at closing. Based on my experience، I would definitely never recommend working with Drew and if you are a buyer of a property that Drew is selling please do your due diligence and make sure everything is in writing .
