Update 2025 - Clay kept my family on the road for decades. I just got a new car. I have a warranty and no problems. But I am mourning the day that I do. I never took my cars to the dealer، always to Clay. He was as honest and skilled as they come. "When you find a good mechanic، you have found a good thing." RIP in Mr. Clay. You will be missed.

Clay was easy to deal with and very understanding. With his help I was able to get my vehicle towed to him and looked at without having to miss work. He was honest، and informed me about the car's issues quickly and the diagnostic fee was under 50 bucks، very fair considering how thorough Clay was. I'd definately bring my vehicle to him again.

Clay Ferguson is the only competent and honest mechanic that I have ever met in Tallahassee. I've met plenty of incompetent honest mechanics. I've met plenty of incompetent dishonest mechanics. I've been taking trucks and cars to Clay's Automotive for over 20 years. He is truly a master mechanic and can diagnose and repair electrical، air conditioning، diesel، and other difficult problems that most mechanics can't begin to fix. He has always been up front، honest and fair with me and other family members. I have a relative from Atlanta that brings her car to Clay for anything more than an oil change. Clay is a real automotive professional!!!

Clay saved us on our vacation!!!! We were RVing through the Panhandle near Marianna، FL. We began to have engine troubles، seeming to lose power. We googled Diesel Mechanics in the area and called a couple of places with little help، BUT THEN WE FOUND CLAY'S! When we called him، he was so courteous، so helpful that it was amazing. We found he was in Tallahassee، and we were in Lynn Haven، way too far apart. But knowing he was NOT going to get our business didn't matter، he took time to hear our problem and give us what he thought was a proper diagnosis. And guess what...HE WAS RIGHT!!! We limped our truck، barely making it، to an Auto Parts Store، and bought the part he suggested. Being my husband is quite handy، we got it installed، and thank CLAY we were on our way. Not only was it AMAZING that he could diagnose our problem over the phone، but he took extra time to help us and explain it، knowing we could not drive to his garage and pay him for services. We are from Orlando، and this type of service is hard to find there. We hope you will take your problems to Clays and give him the business he deserves، for being and great mechanic and great person!!!! Without him we could have become stranded، and certainly would have paid soooo much more at a garage to have them look for a problem and then fix it. I would even drive from Orlando to Tallahassee to let him service our truck!!! That's how much this meant to us! This is an amazing man we owe many thanks to!!! Much appreciation to you sir!
