Coral Resort Condo Motel

This place was actually so bad we stayed for 3 nights for a relaxing birthday weekend and was nothing but a hassle. The shower had mold in it and was so tiny. There was no front desk and another lady staying on the property had to help us to our room…. Also was woken up multiple times due to work being done outside… was never told about this….. so long story short stear clear of this place

We stayed one week at Coral Resort. Upon arrival، the room was visibly unclean، with food debris، plastic utensils، and dirt on the floor. The floors appeared not to have been mopped in a long time، and the area rug was unsanitary، containing a significant amount of sand underneath. The bed was a small، soft full-size mattress suitable for one person at most; while the bedding was clean، the blankets had cigarette burns and the pillows were flat and worn. Due to the condition of the floors، we purchased cleaning supplies ourselves and spent time cleaning the filthy floors. The only positive aspect was the excellent location and proximity to nearby amenities. Definitely will not be back.

Long post...main point is DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED. Location is convenient but there are PLENTY other hotels to stay at! We checked in around 5:30pm on Aug. 7th، for a long weekend away with no children and to get married. First night there، went back to room to get rready for dinner، go to shower and the shower head falls off hits me in the head، no shower for the evening. We immediately called the number on my welcome email، asked if there was another room، there was not. One we could briefly shower in but would need to return to our room for the night (what a hassle) and maintenance would be there the next morning. We asked for a refund to just go ahead and stay at a hotel down the road. There was so much more to deal with that night besides no shower. No garbage can except in the bathroom، which smelled of urine، we had to tie a garbage bag around the close door handle all weekend. and the private balcony advertised is a shared rusty metal ledge looking at the bay and directly into another rental، with onlybroom to stand، there was no balcony seating. No refund but did offer $30 credit for inconvenience. We were tired and said ok، tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow was no better، they did fix the shower head and light but there was no hot water. Finally not even 1 hour before the uber arrived to take us to the license and ceremony، we were able to take cold and luke warm shower، Again we texted management and no refund could be offered، But they would let hoa know about the water. They sometime came and checked that day but when we returned no hot water. Our entire stay we had no hot water in the shower. Wifi didnt work، we came back multiple times with our door wide open. The room would have been ok، we could've easily overlooked the other misadvertisements and inconveniences، had we just had the hot water but the fact that the ower or manager wouldn't even give us a partial refund، I offered to pay the 1st night، is ridiculous and goes to show they don't care about their guests only the money the receive. There is no sofa as advertised، a small wicker table and 2 folding chairs، 2 dirty wicker chairs to set in and a Murphy bed with a very firm mattress. The pool water was warmer than the shower water. Let's not forget that the air conditioner worked for awhile and would cut off and display a code. After my husband fooled with it he got it back on but there's no filter and full of mold. We checked out today and still have yet to heard anything other than they apologize for our inconvenience and will talk to their team. Shouldn't be that hard، to give a refund if a customer isnt happy because YOU can't provide a service actually needed like hot water! I wasted more time complaining that I should have just but the bullet، booked another room at a decent place، and fought this fight when I returned home. Lesson learned. Thank you for a less than relaxing weekend.

These apartments are fantastic! Right on the water، close to the trolley، and everything، including the pool is spotless! They are obviously older units، but they have been decorated beachy، and when you come from the North East، where everything is grey، these units make you feel sunny! Lots of room as well! Free laundry! I love them!

Stayed at the Coral Resort for 3 years at different units and enjoyed each stay. The units are owned independently but managed by Coral Resort. Location to the downtown area of Clearwater Beach and the beach access is perfect. Once you park at the Coral Resort، you do not need to use your car، everything you need is within walking distance. The beach is 2 blocks from the resort and the downtown area which stretches for quite a distance is walkable، if you don't mind walking. The heated pool is a great feature especially after a hot day at the beach. So nice to enjoy a dip in the pool to rise off the ocean feel. Management is always around to assist with questions and to offer suggestions for things to do in the area and any other questions you might have. The grounds are kept neat and clean، a pleasure to stay there. There are free washers and dryers to use if staying on site. The 3 units I have stayed in have been fine، just old and needing some upkeep.
