Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens

Absolutely loved visiting the Arts and Garden Museum! The grounds were beautiful، peaceful، and very well maintained. There was so much to see، from the stunning gardens to the unique art exhibits، making it a perfect place to relax، explore، and take pictures. The staff was welcoming، and the entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you're an art lover، a nature enthusiast، or just looking for a beautiful place to spend a few hours، this is definitely worth visiting. I would absolutely come back again!

The Cummer is a staple of living in the first coast، if you're local or visiting this affordable museum is never short of vibes and inspiration. Free community days keep it available for all families and children love their interactive days. Traveling exhibits ensures there's always something new to see. The gift shop is vastly over priced for what is being sold but hey that's tourism for you. Scenic waterfront gardens makes for a perfect quiet date night or peaceful reflection to enjoy the city and nature.

The best museum I’ve been in Florida. Beautiful!! It’s cool that students enter for free. I see this as a motivation to visit museums، I love it! The garden on the outside part is wonderful، all the flowers and landscape، it was honestly amazing! I went during the spring so I imagine that it was even more prettier than usually. Highly recommend if you’re in Jacksonville

7/15/2025A hidden gem along the banks if the St. Johns river in Jacksonville. A wonderful collection of artwork. Some hundreds of years old. Beautifully displayed. Also a beautiful garden including reflecting pools behind the museum. Take your time going thru the grounds and museum. Just beautiful! Everyone of the staff is excellent. We ate lunch at their café. Service was excellent. Our server was the best I've ever had anywhere. He cared about what he was doing. All of the meals at our table were perfect in flavor and presentation. Maybe the café is Michelin rated. Or should be. On my way out، I was outside the giftshop and I was greeted by a gentleman whom must have been the director. He truly cared that we enjoyed the the museum. What a wonderful experience.

Spent the afternoon wandering the gardens، watching the butterflies، and enjoying all of the art. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable، and there to answer questions. The layout of the galleries and court yard was convenient and the bathroom facilities were clean and well kept. Parking was easy and free and I can't wait to go back and spend some more time looking at the paintings. I particularly liked Andrew Wyeth's gallery and recommend 10/10
