Earley's Kitchen

If you are looking for the best Southern eatery in the area، believe the hype—Earley's Kitchen does not disappoint. I visited while on a business trip، and our entire group left with completely clean plates. The atmosphere is small and quaint، yet incredibly inviting and relaxing. ​Our server، Blessing، was amazing; her customer service was top-notch، and she was so helpful in navigating the menu. I highly recommend the fried pork chop and the chicken and dumplings، but the cabbage was truly out of this world. Between our group، we also sampled the oxtails، squash، and peach cobbler—everything was delicious. If you are near FAMU، do yourself a favor and indulge here. You’ll leave full and happy!

On Today August 7th is my Birthday 🎂 so I chose to eat at Early's Kitchen for the first time and I invited my mom along with me ☺️. The owner and the crew signed a birthday card that I wasn't aware of but one of the employees brought it out to me for my Birthday yayyy that was soooo nice of them!! I even met Joe Bullard (hopefully I spelled it right) for the first time while I was there.. The food was great the atmosphere was great even the red velvet cake was great..

My sister and I went here for lunch today and the food was not what I was expecting. It was both our first time in and we stood at the hostess desk for a few minutes while the two employees looked at us several times. We fonally decided to walk around towards them and there qas a whole setup for us to order food. I told the young lady as nicely as i could thatbit would be nice to have a sign or someone to direct patrons where to go especially being it's there first time in the establishment. I ordered baked chicken، yellow rice with black eyed peas on top، Mac n cheese، yams with skins، and a ho cake. Well let's say the only thing on my plate that was good and seasoned was the baked chicken. The macaroni and cheese noodles were definitely overcooked، the black eyed peas had no flavor، and the yams tasted as if they had the glaze of peach cobbler on them. I was very disappointed and im not saying dont try them because everyone's taste buds are different but for me، it's a no I will pass.

Brunch at Earley's Kitchen today. I'll speak for myself when I say، my food was good. I did tell them I could have used a little more gouda in my grits but I enjoyed my meal. Everyone's prefeence in how they like their food prepared، is different. But when one person asks for Cognac and OJ، the bartender knew exactly what to do! We also had bottomless mimosas. The staff was pleasant، engaging and helpful throughout the experience. One of the cooks even came out to ask about the food. They have a vegan breakfast sandwich as well. Kids option (pancake and meat) was perfect for mine. This was the second time for brunch so our server had a few questions but she was able to get the answers and resolution quickly.

Great atmosphere and great food. Service was top notch as well. Gary was very accommodating!
