I rarely leave negative reviews، but after my experience with this firm، I feel others should know what happened. I don't recommend this firm or at least Matt as an attorney. I hired them expecting competent guidance، preparation، and follow through. Instead، my case involved repeated mistakes، delays، poor communication، and issues I had to identify and push on myself. Early on، I was given an initial recommendation that I strongly questioned. Had I not done my own research، stayed organized، and pushed back، I would have ended up in a much worse position. There was also a court delay because required documents/statements were not properly prepared or provided by the attorney’s office، despite already being in their possession. The hearing had to be rescheduled، causing unnecessary stress، lost time، and uncertainty. A major issue involved my mortgage reaffirmation. Months before discharge، I clearly told the firm I intended to reaffirm my mortgage and was told we were “on the same page” and that nothing else was needed from me. After discharge، I discovered no reaffirmation agreement was filed. When I asked for documentation، I was told a call to the lender “would have been made،” but there was no documentation confirming it. I am now dealing with credit reporting issues on a mortgage that has remained current، while having to investigate the docket and lender records myself to understand what happened. At one point، when I raised concerns about their initial recommendation — which I later had to push back on and was ultimately right to question — I was told، “Life is tough.” That response was dismissive and، unfortunately، reflected the overall experience. Based on my experience، I would not recommend this firm. There are better professionals available. Clients deserve clear advice، proper preparation، documented follow-through، and accountability.
