Fountains of Largo

I usually don't write negative reviews، this has been building up for a long time. Looking for a lower level 2/2 but all were occupied، so I was shown the 1/1 "show unit" which had nice flooring and updated counters through out. I was told the 2/2 would be even more updated and all upper level units had carpet in the bedrooms to help alleviate noise (not true). I was very pleased and especially loved the beautiful landscaping/fountains، clean common area، close to the beach، and no evacuation zone. I signed the lease. Since I was moving from the Midwest، I gave my brother، who lives locally، my spare key. Once I received notification the unit was available، I asked him to take pictures as I was excited and still had over a month before I moved in. I was shocked to see that the kitchen and bathroom floors were brownish 12x12 tiles. Counters throughout were also outdated. And both bathroom sinks were YELLOW. Not at all what I was shown، told or expected. I felt a little bait and switch was going on. I sent an email، was told there was nothing they could do about the flooring but would take care of the sinks. They PAINTED them white. Now everything stains them and they are rusting. Once I arrived I realized the unit was not freshly painted، shower fixtures were also outdated، and light switches didn't work. I told them I could deal with the light switches but they insisted on bringing in an electrician for the day (approx 8 hrs)، which I had to remove myself from the unit so they could fix the issue، nope، still don't work. When I told them just so they wouldn't get charged for that service، they said to me، "we told you it wouldn't help، but you would get a new panel" (why would I approve this?). Yep، I got an oversized grey panel right in the middle of the hallway. Not happy but livable and still love this area. However، what is not livable are the roaches/palmettos that make their way into my unit. Several pest control visits، took it upon myself to seal my door، caulk areas I thought could be an entry point، sprayed natural deterrents، nothing has worked. I have provided pictures of، a filthy trash can، trash bags being left out، not even in the supplied trash can، and pet waste not being properly bagged (that's what the 2 notices that were left by the trash valet company in the past month says). FYI، I do not utilize valet trash، I walk my trash to the dumpster. I think this service is unsanitary. I have email after email trying to get some resolution. I have been very patient until recently، hence the review، as this has been an issue since last July. Now my last couple of emails have gone unanswered. I have done my research and talked to a couple of local pest control companies، and everything points to the filth in the shared hallway، which is being overlooked and accepted.

Probably the nicest complex I've lived in anywhere in the state so far honestly. It's not perfect of course، but in terms of price and feeling safe، it is the best I've lived in. The manager Yessy and the maintenance tech، Selvin and Angel are wonderful and respectful and always do their best to help. They're quick about getting to help requests. Them and the management team know us by name and always say hello when we see them. The Fountains in the backyards are genuinely so pretty and the fences are screened، so pets، small children are safe from getting out، and pests don't get in. At my last place it was open and we would get wasp nests constantly and I felt uncomfortable being out there. Here I actually want to sit out and read a book. Very quiet and no issues with feeling unsafe. You can't hear the neighbors، so it's nice and private. Ac and heat work well، and I really enjoy the ceiling fan in the living room. If you're looking for a place under 1700، definitely apply here. They have move in special prices sometimes as well، which is what we got. Thank you، Yessy، Selvin، and Angel! Requested maintenance on a water leak and action was not taken immediately. Then the plumber had to cut an additional hole in the wall along with the one needed to do the repair just to retrieve a tool that had fell down in the wall. After the water leak was repaired maintenance brought in a humidifier to dry the area which had a leak and was making it worse. When notified of the situation they continued using it trying to catch the leak in a container. Guess what it FAILED!!! They finally bring in another humidifier. After the water is dried maintenance comes in to patch the drywall. Once it was all done I was very disappointed. It.looked like a child had smeared mud on the wall and painted over it. I discussed this with management to see if I could get this corrected because it's an eyesore for the apartments appearance and managements duties. I have not had any response to my request.

I’m hoping I can move in . I’m going thru the vetting process. Yessii is wonderful don’t know what I would have done without her. She’s been helping me with the computer stuff. God bless her.

Outdated، laundry room smells like fecal matter، too old to be charging what it does. The manager will call to harass you about your review so I doubt many people are being honest.
