Freda's Dominican Cuisine

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Freda’s Dominican Cuisine! The restaurant is spotless، modern، and very welcoming. You can tell they take pride in keeping the place clean. I ordered the oxtail with jerk seasoning، and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender، juicy، and packed with flavor—it practically fell off the bone. Every bite tasted homemade and authentic. If you’re looking for great Dominican food in Fort Lauderdale، I highly recommend giving this place a try. Excellent food، clean atmosphere، and will definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area!

Mi cuña came to visit and I decided to try out this new Dominican restaurant. It wasn't as good as her food but definitely reminds me of La Romana، just a bit. Definitely worth going again.

I've been waiting patiently for Freda's to open for a couple months now، so naturally I had to pop over there for their opening day، and I was not disappointed. When my friend، and I entered we were greeted by a cute guy who told us where to order and recommended we try the fresh juices. We ordered a lot of things، agua de chinola chicharrones، carne guisada، goat، yuca، maduros، etc etc. Too much for two people. All of it was really good. We also ordered an assortment of desserts. The orange cake and coffee flan were the best. All the staff were efficient and friendly، and I'm looking forward to coming back for the mofongo and oxtails.

I went on opening day and let me just say I’ve been waiting months for this place to open!!! Coming from NYC where you can get great Dominican anywhere and then moving down here to hardly any Dominican restaurants this was a great experience. The food was amazing it was tasty and seasoned really well. I did go on opening day where they had a lunch special so I can’t rave about pricing just yet but the service was just as good. The ladies behind the counter were very sweet and friendly. I spoke to one of the family members and they let me know they were also from NYC، QUEENS to be exact so I was excited to know that the quality didn’t change. Can’t wait to try more menu items!!
