Fresh From the Garden

Was driving to Tallahassee from West Palm Beach and needed a place to stop by and eat in Jacksonville. Found Fresh From the Garden from a chat gpt request for "cozy brunch and lunch diners" and that it is. My party and I were greeted with smiles and very friendly service that can only be described as "genuine old Florida hospitality". The food came out within minutes، all very fresh. We ordered the gyro with fries which were homemade and delicious as well as a chicken salad and the fresh quiche. Upon saying we were travelling far، we were given several cookies on the house and a family-like sending off. Will definitely be coming back especially after the delicious Greek yogurt samples which were also complimentary. What a lovely hidden gem 🥰

The food was pretty good، it wasn’t super busy when we got there at about 1130 but it started to get super busy immediately after (lunch rush، I guess). There is seating outside the building، so if the weather is decent that’s not a bad option as the inside felt super crowded with the line for food that was right next to the tables. They also had cake in the display case that looked fabulous، although we didn’t get any.

I absolutely love this family-owned and operated Greek restaurant! From the moment you walk in، you're treated like family. The staff remembers your name، greets you warmly، and always goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The food is consistently fresh، flavorful، and authentic، and they're incredibly accommodating to special requests and dietary needs. It's rare to find a place that combines amazing food with such genuine hospitality. You can tell they truly care about their customers and the community they serve.

Had business nearby، so based on reviews، decided to try Fresh from the Garden Cafe in the Midtown Center Office Park off Woodcock Rd north of Beach Blvd. Talk about a hidden gem! Super friendly service، despite the line to the door the entire time we were there، plus all tables full! Terrific breakfast and lunch menu، including housemade Greek specialties and baked goods. And so affordable! We enjoyed the Club Sandwich and the Gyro، made both a platter، so one side for the sandwich، two for the Gyro، plus drinks. Food was ready quickly، perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! Open M-F 8:30 am -2 pm.

Wonderful cafe. Food was great! Lots of food to choose from. Owner and staff are really nice. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. Will visit again!
