Gaines Street Pies

We visited this pizza spot because it was close to our hotel، and overall it was a great local place to grab a slice. We ordered two 10-inch pizzas and the cheesy bread. The cheesy bread was absolutely amazing، and the pizzas were delicious as well. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because one of our pizzas was made incorrectly. The staff was quick to correct the mistake، which we appreciated، but it did mean my daughter had to wait and watch the rest of the family eat while her pizza was being remade. That said، the restaurant was very clean، the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable، and the food was excellent. We'd definitely stop by again when we're in the area.

Gaines Street Pies is much more than just a pizza restaurant. The moment you walk through the door، you feel like you've stepped into the pages of a comic book. The colorful artwork، creative design، and lively atmosphere immediately put a smile on your face and set the stage for a fun dining experience. It is the kind of place that makes you happy before the food even arrives. We started with the Cobb Salad، and it was exactly what a Cobb Salad should be. Loaded with generous portions of bacon and chicken، it was fresh، filling، and packed with flavor. Too often restaurants treat salads as an afterthought، but that was definitely not the case here. For pizza، we ordered the Tomato and Basil pizza along with a Chicken Pesto pizza. The Tomato and Basil pizza was proof that great food does not need a long list of ingredients. While it is a simple combination، every ingredient shined، creating a pizza that was fresh، balanced، and incredibly flavorful. It was impressive how much flavor could come from such a straightforward recipe. The Chicken Pesto pizza was equally outstanding. The pesto brought a rich and vibrant flavor that paired perfectly with the chicken، creating a pizza that was both satisfying and memorable. Between the two pizzas and the salad، we completely cleaned our plates and had nothing left to take home، which says everything that needs to be said about the quality of the food. An added bonus is Warhorse، the bar located alongside the restaurant that handles beverage service. We took advantage of happy hour and enjoyed a couple of drinks with dinner، which made the experience even better. The combination of great food، cold drinks، and a fun atmosphere made for a fantastic evening. Gaines Street Pies delivers on every level. Outstanding pizza، generous portions، creative surroundings، and a unique atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Whether you are a local or just passing through town، this is a place that deserves a spot on your must visit list.

Very convenient to where i was staying. I ordered online which was convenient as well. The food was good. The garlic knots were hard and the sauce that accompanied 6 knots was not nearly enough. The sauce was pretty good، tasted fresh and not a whole lot of seasoning. The calzone was good as well. It had value because of the convenience and it was hot and tasted good.

This was the worst pizza we’ve ever had. Ordered two pizzas on first NFL Sunday. The large was hard as cardboard—even though it was thin، chewing it was impossible. Toppings on one pizza were thrown together in the middle، whereas the other one— chicken bbq—had barely any chicken or bbq sauce (see pic). Never had my kids not finish a pizza—until this time. Ended up throwing it away and ordering another dinner. Had much better experience with this place previously but will not be coming back.

Now THIS is pizza!!! The food was absolutely delicious. We came with our hearts already set on pizza and salad، but we will definitely try other offerings in the future. The restaurant was clean، service was very pleasant، and we were informed that everything is fresh! (Fresh as in، no freezers fresh! I think Gordon Ramsay would be impressed!) The salad was crisp and delicious and served with an amazing homemade dressing (I forgot to take photos of the salad، and the pizza before I started eating it، LOL!) The pizzas were top notch! We will definitely return، and I highly recommend this place. Great job to this restaurant and staff!
