HJ German Corner

Everything about HJ German Corner is authentic، sweet، down to earth، and delicious. The interior is completely handmade by Hans the owner and each schnitzel really is pounded by hand. What may seem like an inconspicuous little restaurant on the side of the road on your travels through Florida or while in Ft. Meyers may actually turn into a spot that you’ll make sure to tell you friends about and need to go to every time you pass through town. Indeed، it would be remiss to not stop and dine at HJ’s.

Amazing authentic German food! Tiny place and must have reservations. Huge portions. We had the Jaegerschnitzel - sooo good! The red cabbage and German potato salad were wonderful. You must try the cheese strudel - heavenly!!

Absolutely amazing، the food was perfect and flavorful and a perfect portion size. The beer was fresh and crisp on tap، and I HIGHLY recommend the Jaegerschnitzel. Barbara has such a great personality and Mr Weyer is an incredible chef. If you're passing through Ft Myers DO NOT IGNORE this little hole in the wall style restaurant، you will very much enjoy your meal and your time here.

Most authentic German food outside of Germany! Started with Goulaschsuppe (homemade goulasch soup) and it was just as delicious as my grandmother would make it. My main was the Jägerschnitzel (breaded pork schnitzel) and again just to die for. Of course، my meal was paired with a German Pilsner (yum). I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and I'm so happy I was finally able to try it. Excited for my next time back eating so amazing food!

Fantastic place. I recommend the Wiener schnitzel. All schnitzels are always very good، very fresh. Minutes after placing the order you can hear Hans getting to work on your schnitzels. German beer on tap. We liked the cheese strudel as well.
