Holland Park

It’s a small park، but very beautiful and full of nature. It sits right on the Intracoastal، which makes the views really nice، and it has a lovely wooden bridge that’s great for walking and enjoying the scenery. It’s a great place to bring kids، ride bikes، and spend some time outdoors. There are several signs warning about alligators، but we didn’t see any during our visit. A peaceful spot to relax and connect with nature. 🌿

We are signed in with blazing paddles. We often do practice for race. We love the environment and the backwater was well protected by mangrove forest.

Can’t believe I’ve lived in Hollywood this long and didn’t know about this park! Love this little slice of peace in my city. Perfect for walks or to sit and enjoy the scenery. Lots of shade to enjoy while avoiding the sun. They also have a boat launch for motorized or non motorized.

I love this park! I wish I lived closer. The observation deck is such a cool little asset. I love walking the trail that goes through the mangroves. This is also a great place to launch a kayak because the floating dock is so close to the water. The Green Trail of West Lake Park is the closest marked trail to Holland Park. Lots of bugs here though especially on the walking trails. Entry is free but I know boats with trailers have to pay to park by the dock. I drop off my kayak at the dock and park closer to the bathrooms to park for free.

Hidden gem of a park! Known by locals-only type of spot. Tucked away in a nice neighborhood، with its own parking lot and a public launch area for watercrafts. Lots of grills around for a family-friendly BBQ. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and other wildlife sightings! The eco-trail، while short، is also very accessible and is wheelchair friendly. The observation deck is currently inaccessible unfortunately as they have barred the entrance (last checked 12.26.24)
