Our daughter lives 5 hours away and drives our 2020 Honda HRV. The car wouldn't start، so she took it to another shop where they told her both battery and alternator would need to be replaced for $1500. Other places also said the readings indicated a failing alternator. I told her to hold off on that so we could get some additional opinions. When we called Import Authority and spoke with Chip، he was very skeptical that this was the case based on the age and mileage of the car. He recommended getting the battery replaced first and then bringing it by for an inspection after that to make sure everything was ok. He called and told us that everything checked out and nothing else was wrong with the car. He only charged us $43. His advice saved us over $1000 and I cannot fully express how grateful I am to find an auto shop that is honest. This is exactly how a business gains and keeps loyal customers. Moving forward، I know exactly where I will be sending my daughter with any future car issues. Thanks again to Chip and Import Authority!!

i’ve been very pleased with the communication of IA’s team throughout the times i’ve needed their service. every phone call was done with confidence in the work performed and detailed tests done to my civic while in their care. as a young adult woman، i stress about being deceived into purchasing parts/maintenance i didn’t need and each time i expressed a concern about one thing، i was assured of the dialogue from clinton that i wasn’t being overcharged for the bare minimum. while i haven’t been able to use their services to the fullest، i will be back to work with them in the future. thanks for helping out especially in a such notice!

I have been going to Import Authority since about 2006. I continue to be impressed that the knowledge and skill of the company overall. They provide excellent service in general. Recently I had a confounding problem of my a/c not working . My car is a 2003 Avalon that I am trying to keep for life. So I was quite concerned because normal fixes did not solve the problem of not blowing cold air. The failure was a component of the system that is not usually needed to be repaired. Because most folks replace their cars more often. Understand، my 2003 Avalon has over 200،00 miles on it and is 23 years old، it took even them a few attempts at repair before they figured it out. But they are an exceptional repair shop with a lot of really good mechanics. They solved a very difficult and rare problem involving the electrical system and the air conditioning.

Easy to schedule via email and good communication throughout the repair. Been using them for probably more than 20 years، and they have been my family’s auto consultants، as well as repair shop. Everything they’ve ever said has been spot on، and every repair has been on time and perfectly executed. They may not be the cheapest shop in town، but nobody else is going to touch my car.

This place is good for more silver hair folks who cannot see the difference between right and overprice. They charged me $550 for a transmission fluid change that at a dealership is done for $150. They had to find the problem that I was describing for an hour، which you would think an experienced auto place with smart tech will know in a few. They did charge separately $300 to diagnose the problem and confirm the problem does not exist. I would not recommend this place if you want to save those hard earned money. There are better auto repair shops in town.
