Jet Runway Cafe

Jet Cafe lived up to the hype. My wrap and veggies were flavorful، and the meal came out quickly. I visited on a Thursday afternoon and waited about 25 minutes for a featured window seat، but it was worth it. The staff were friendly and efficient، making for an overall great lunch experience. Parking was free and almost at capacity for a weekday so plan accordingly if you visit during peak times.

This restaurant is literally sitting on runway. I love coming here to eat on Sundays. It's best to get there early as there are no reservations. Although the wait appears to long، it's not. Staff is efficient and works face، so if you're told that the wait is 30 minutes، be prepared to be seated sooner. This most recent visit، my son and I had chicken and waffle. It was absolutely delicious. Chicken tenders were not overcooked and the large waffle tasted so good.

I have a bone to pick with runway cafe!! Ive been debating leaving a review but this is unacceptable. The previous times I’ve been here went very well، but I haven’t been in about a year. I gave them a visit last Sunday for lunch، busy but not the worst I’ve seen there. We ordered A side of potatoes with our entrées and to our surprise، There was a plastic bag tag served to us in our potatoes. I brought this to our waitresses attention، and she quickly got it sorted out with the manager، and they gave us a gift card to reimburse us for the side since I brought it up after we paid for our meal. I kind of lost my appetite after seeing it So I asked for my order of bread pudding that we got as a dessert to go instead of having it there. The bread pudding is usually served with a syrup، some blueberry’s and strawberry’s. Again، to my surprise، as I took a bite of bread pudding and a berry، an unpleasant taste and texture erupted in my mouth. I was given pieces of raw potato mixed into my berries. What’s shown in the picture is what was left in the container (not including what I had already bit into and spit out). Your establishment is not cheap، nor is it easy to dine at. So try to maintain some type of professionalism in your kitchen. You’re not running a Waffle House but it sure feels like it! ( no hate to Waffle House، all hate towards runway، for now ) Runway، do better.

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. We waited less than 40 minutes although it was very busy right before closing. Shelby was great! Very kind and consistently coming to check in on us. Everyone enjoyed their meal. There was no bad review on any of the food that we ordered. I would definitely come back to try something new. Also my kids loved watching the planes land and take off

Service is friendly and efficient، even during busy times، and the overall vibe feels upscale without being stuffy. It’s no wonder this place draws crowds—it’s worth every minute of any wait.
