Kaeru Sushi & Grill

We’ve come here multiple times whenever we’re craving sushi، and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. This place is consistently exceptional. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming، with authentic Japanese décor that feels genuine rather than curated for show. There’s a warmth to the space that immediately makes you feel at home. The sushi is incredibly fresh and، in my opinion، better than many of the far more expensive sushi restaurants I’ve visited in Miami. Every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail. Their fried calamari is also the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked، light، and absolutely delicious. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the service. The staff is friendly، professional، and attentive without ever being intrusive. They take the time to explain menu items، share the stories behind the restaurant، and offer thoughtful recommendations on sake and specialties. It creates an experience that feels personal and memorable. This is one of those rare places that feels completely authentic and unpretentious. It’s a hidden gem that deserves far more recognition، and I genuinely believe it should be on the Michelin radar. Every visit is an absolute pleasure، and we always leave looking forward to the next one.

Celebrating my son’s birthday. What a great experience!!! The welcoming atmosphere، host and knowledgeable waiter (Jeremy) made this night super SPECIAL! Food was incredible، not something you will usually experience in Pembroke Pines. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend to make reservations، space is very limited.

Came here with my vegetarian partner and some friends and we were SUPER impressed! It really is an experience dining here and at a very affordable price point for fine dining. Starts off with the waiters really diving into the menu especially for first time guests، ambiance is set with homely but pretty decorations and low lighting، and meals are plated beautifully! The portions are on the smaller side، which is perfect for couples or groups wanting to share small plates. There was one or two things that I thought were just okay (e.g.، one of the crab rolls was too salty، and then the calamari was just mid quality for my preferences)، but the rest of the items and the service more than made up for it. While there aren’t many vegetarian options، the ones we had were great. Highly recommend the sake flight، nigiri، and pork belly، and then the curry fries and vegan sushi roll for vegetarians!

I’ve found my new go to spot. The food was so tasty & flavorful، hats off to the chef. Atmosphere is great، love the music & dim lighting. Truly was the most excellent customer service I’ve ever experienced by far. Julian، our waiter was phenomenal. Will definitely be coming here often.

Just finished dining at the only two star Michelin restaurant in Miami last night and the food at Kaeru actually was better. The teriyaki chicken was such a surprise and so so good! I always judge a sushi place by their salmon nigiri and this was excellent-definitely beats the best sushi place (sushi den) I recently had in Denver. Jeremy was an amazing server too! Hands down this place is amazing and definitely worth a detour to come here. The outside is dark but it was open at first I thought maybe it was closed but it is just darkened window shades.
