La Fonda de Ocoee

Family run restaurant، homely and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food! We ordered Enchiladas and Chile Relleno and both were amazing. We also tried their Passion fruit and Mango drinks (Agua Fresca) and they were refreshing. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Fonda، and I can confidently say it’s a true hidden gem in Ocoee. This small، family-owned restaurant delivers an authentic and welcoming experience that’s hard to find in Central Florida. I ordered the chicken milanesa and my wife the tacos، and both dishes were absolutely delicious—fresh، flavorful، and clearly made with care. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. What makes this place even more special is its cozy، locally owned feel. It’s the kind of spot where you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. If you’re in the area and craving great Mexican food، I highly recommend giving this place a try. Definitely a 5-star experience!

I don’t wish ill will on this restaurant … I’m not trying to be vindictive … but someone served me some tainted meat، and I’m not happy about it. Went to eat on Monday afternoon on way home from airport mid-afternoon. I had pork burrito. Wife had beef. Tasted good. Hit the spot. Service was ok. Wasn’t busy. About 10 that night everything went south for me. Terrible diarrhea… had to go to hospital … kidney function down to 51%، dehydrated … still have diarrhea on Saturday and still in hospital but hope to get out today. Had to sit quarantined for three days in this windowless hospital room with a plastic commode as a toilet. Was not worth it. I don’t think I’ll ever eat Mexican food anywhere again… makes me leery of eating out for sure. Mid afternoon I can’t help but wonder if the meat sat out too long or something. It had to be the meat because my wife had the exact same ingredients minus the meat and she didn’t get sick. And we ate the same things prior to that for the days before and she didn’t get sick. Anyway، someone messed up. Hopefully this makes them much more cautious in food prep.

La Fonda De Ocoee is the absolute best. The portions are huge and they taste even better. I don’t live in the area but whenever I visit، this is a MUST stop for me. Friendly service & I love the authentic Mexican food ! Keep up the great work - I’ll see you again soon.👍🏽

Amazing food! Fajitas were 🔥🔥 Wife loved the chicken flautas! Please ask for the hot sauce 🔥 You guys were awesome! Keep it up
