La Fondita

We have tried nearly every Mexican restaurant in Cape Coral and this is probably the best one، by far. The drinks were great with a beautiful presentation (see photos) and the food was fresh with good portions and great flavors. We had chicken Nachos، steak Burrito، tacos، Torta and gorditas. We were very impressed!

I definitely found a new favorite Mexican Restaurant. Everything was fresh and homemade، all the way down to squeezing their own pineapple juice. The tortilla chips were strong enough that i could use them to scoop my plate، without being overly crunchy. Fabianna was a wonderful server and eager to make suggestions. Rather than attempt to eat the entire large portion of food، I decided to box it up and try their Tres Leche cake. Omgoodness. Wow. And with a scoop of vanilla on the side. Yes، I would most certainly recommend this little hidden gem. I wouldn't suggest a large group، but LaFondita is definitely nice for a family outing

We decided to pull in to try it out. This is the best Mexican spot in the cape! If you want Mexican good Mexican go here! I Flavors were spot on and the service is A1. Even the soda was mixed perfectly. The beans have great flavor the rice is perfect no one grain sticking to another. Steak had great season. Even the chips and salsa was crazy it blew my mind that a little spot in a little shopping center is putting that out. They love what they do and you can tell! Hats off to them they are the cream of the crop. I’ve eaten Mexican food all over the country including Mexico many times and this is top of the top in my eyes.

One word - Authentic. Starting with the best tortilla chips we’ve ever tasted. I had the enchiladas and my husband had an amazing chicken and chorizo dish. Even the dessert was made in-house. Servers were super friendly and attentive. Not a lot of seating. Not a fancy store front. But delicious Mexican!

We were looking for an authentic Mexican place to have some queso birria tacos and they did not disappoint، we had agua de piña and Jamaica - delicious! The only disappointing thing were the salsas with the chips but overall authentic and excellent service!
