I had an absolutely amazing experience at La Playa! Love that they’re at Swamp Cat. The empanadas were hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. I tried the pork، and it was incredibly juicy، flavorful، and perfectly seasoned … the every bite was packed with deliciousness. What really impressed me was the variety. From their savory stuffed plantains to the freshly made arepas، everything tasted authentic and made with care.

The flavors are authentic and full of soul—everything is perfectly seasoned and clearly made with care. The mofongo was rich and flavorful، and the meats were tender and cooked to perfection. Portions are generous، prices are fair، and the service is friendly and attentive. If you’re craving real Puerto Rican cuisine that tastes homemade and authentic، this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wanted to try their food while at the brewery. Tuesday is taco special. Miguel took my order and was very helpful and friendly. We got skirt steak، fish and shrimp tacos. Miguel quickly brought out food out to us. Meat was done perfectly with a little chimichurri on top. Fish was grilled just right with a little sauteed onion and sauce on top. The shrimp taco was also excellent. Good value for the money. Smiling، friendly help. Delicious! Great job

The flatbread pizza we ordered from La Playa was excellent. La Playa is one of the food vendors at Swamp Cat Brewing، with their own kitchen along the outside "food hall" connected to the brewery. Pizza and beer is the classic combination. Good Pizza can make the beer taste better and of course، good beer always makes pizza taste better! The pizza from La Playa did not take long to prepare and looked amazing when it was ready. It tasted just as good as it looked، too. We were glad we picked La Playa and will do the same next time we crave some flat bread pizza at this great little brewery.

The food comes out fresh and hot. We had the mofongo bowl with fried pork chuck، the taco of shrimp، skirt steak and pork shoulder and the stuff platanos of skirt steak. Everything was delicious. Hands down will be coming back. AND the little stand looks very clean.
