Liberty Bar & Restaurant

So this was my first tome here with my wife for Tallahassee Foodies week. We got there amd the place was pretty much empty amd had only one server. To keep it brief، I will summarize. Service was very slow، the food was decent but nothing was a wow factor. Would I return، no. Do I recommend، I suggest you go and try it. It may be for you or may not. But if it was really bad I'd say don't go. These are my and my wifes views and they are subjective so you decide. For me overall out of 10، I give this place a 5.

Visited early in the week of FSU and FAMU graduation. The restaurant was happy-hour busy and we were first in the table dining area. Being open for dinner on Monday was a definite plus! The menu had great variation and the food we ordered was delish! The chef has skills and background، for sure! The scotch eggs were yum، and the order consisted of two large halves. (The picture shows only one because we just couldn't wait to try it!) The drink menu was fabulous and the libations beautifully created and presented. Our server took great care with us and struck up fun conversations while highlighting the menu. It was obvious when we visited Liberty، there was a work team mentality that included respect for other team member talent and workload resulting in a wonderful dining experience. Kudos!

I had a wonderful experience here but I must stick with 4 Stars. Staff manager was new but did a wonderful job. I felt the waiter was new also، so I prob just need to come back when they have a little more staff. I had excellent service and the food came out as ordered and timely. I do not like paying $13 for a shot of liquor from a $55 bottle but it is what it is. I did enjoy the house special for happy hour the House Old Fashioned Bourbon is nice. I really، really enjoyed the mussels and menu set-up. I designed the chandelier they have but did not put it on paper، it’s a Blanton’s bottle Chandelier and I love it!

Liberty is absolutely delicious! We love their seasonal drinks، and they always have a great selection of beers on tap. We love to share the loaded fries، but my favorite is the steak fries. Everything I have eaten there is amazing، and I would highly recommend. The staff is super friendly، and we love sitting at the bar to eat.

I've been here for dinner، lunch، and brunch. My one major takeaway is come early and don't have your heart set on something you see on the online menu. Certain meal items are more popular and each time I've been، my server has had to warn me that they're out of something! However، everything tastes very good. Someone knows what they're doing back there and a deviation from your plan won't hurt! During brunch، our mimosa carafe and glasses were dirty... twice. After the second time our server was so frustrated she didn't wait to make sure we still wanted mimosas. We didn't، and when someone else came to give us the third carafe they came without glasses. Then when we got glasses they were wine glasses. lol. We shrugged it off. It was just an unfortunate series of events، but we would've really appreciated a discount or just a second to verify what we wanted.
