Lighthouse Cafe

A cute place right on Periwinkle. They were busy at 8am on July 4th but we snagged seats at the counter and had excellent service! The cranberry banana nut French toast was delicious as was their strawberry jam. This is a go-to breakfast or lunch place. I think they have dinner too. Outside seating available as well.

What an amazing breakfast! Service was so fast، everyone was very nice، and the food was so tasty. Loved the coconut French toast، and the key lime hollandaise sauce was such a good twist with the eggs Benedict. The vibe of the restaurant was super cool and homey as well. Recommend to everyone!!

Not sure I would rate it the world's best but it is decent breakfast food. Grits were creamy. Ordered wheat toast but got the rye، which was better. The strawberry preserves were totally awesome. They are stingy on how much they give you. Bacon good and cooked well. Cool decor. Service was lacking. Wouldn't refill my water. When asking for additional butter، server questioned why، because there were two still on my platter. Needless to say the butter I received did not go to waste. Not cool in my opinion. Mario needs to learn some manners and how service works. Food did come out quickly.

Best breakfast on the island، and they really do mean it!! The breakfast tacos were delicious، honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The biscuits and gravy were great too، with a nice homemade gravy that really stood out. I also had the cranberry raisin waffle، which was a daily special. They offer rotating specials، and both of our entrées happened to be on the special menu! The coffee and juices were fresh، the service was warm and friendly، and the atmosphere felt cozy and homey. I would definitely come back!!

This is a cool breakfast spot on Sanibel island. We went off season، so got right in & sat down at table immediately. The menu is full of yummy offerings but not so many things that you get lost trying to figure out what to order. Not sure if there’s gluten free & dairy free combo options، other than oatmeal…unless you eat eggs &/or meat products. My son ordered the breakfast sandwich with scrambled egg & bacon with fried potatoes on the side options - which was huge & delish! There are tables around the perimeter of restaurant with a few booths in middle & medium size number of seats for counter-only seating. We noticed there’s outdoor tables (too hot now in summer) but def option in-season!
