We finally tried Mad Beach Poké where the old Sweet Brewnette used to be، and wow… this place absolutely blew us away. Hands down، bar none، one of the best poké bowls I’ve ever had anywhere. First off، the atmosphere is awesome. Bright colors، super clean، laid-back surfer/fishing-beach vibe without feeling tacky or overdone. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming، and you can immediately tell they genuinely care about the quality of what they’re serving. And the food… just look at these bowls. The fish quality was excellent — fresh، clean، buttery، and perfectly prepared. The presentation was honestly picture-perfect. These bowls looked like professional food photography sitting in front of us، but somehow tasted even better than they looked. We had the Spicy Rainbow with jalapeños and spicy sauce، and another bowl with grilled shrimp from their full kitchen menu، and every bite was amazing. Fresh ingredients، perfect textures، balanced sauces، great portions، and absolutely nothing tasted cheap or filler-heavy. This is NOT tourist-trap food. If you’re near John’s Pass، it’s literally worth the quick 2-minute drive or easy walk up the road to get genuinely high-quality food instead of generic frozen beach-bar stuff. Seriously impressed. We’ll absolutely be back.
