Mama’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

I’ve ordered from Mama’s twice and been happy both times. The chicken parm sub is amazing، their marinara is so flavorful and their pizza is great with extra sauce and cheese. I also like that they’re on ChowNow which doesn’t have all of the crazy fees، for the customer but especially the restaurant! Highly recommend. They literally have everything you could want Italian wise and it’s authentic and delicious.

I had white clam sauce with angel hair. My husband has the red clan sauce also with angel hair. The portions were generous. I must say my husband hasn't eaten that much in one sitting for a long time. I certainly enjoyed mine. They provide garlic knots، I enjoyed the generous tonight of cheese and fresh garlic. I did feel the bread itself needed some salt. I would have taken the knots over the top. The waitress was friendly and attentive without being pushy. We are from our of town so this sadly we'll probably be our only visit to this great restaurant.

Went in to Mama’s for a pizza and a salad. Great Salad but the Pizza was incredible. Monday pizza are $10.95 for a large pie. We had a large pie with ground meatballs. Great pie the first slice I took and it didn’t flop down. This is the closest thing to a New York pizza I had for a long time in PSL. Now Stephanie، the young lady serving us was so pleasant. She also is a 5 star rating.

Extraordinary Marguerite pie… excellent eggplant parm! Get Delivery every week… customer service outstanding and their delivery young man… is professional، personable and friendly …which makes the whole “NY experience above and beyond! Thanks for treating our family with compassion at a difficult time.

Worst pizza I had ever tasted!!! 😤🤢🤮 Got a pepperoni pizza، got home and when I bit into it، the dough was like carboard and it was way too salty. So I figured maybe something wrong with my taste buds. So the kids took a bite، confirmed… one kid said it was way too salty and my kid said something wrong with the cheese and proceeded to spit it out in the garbage. I have no idea how the place was packed with people، maybe the rest of their items are ok، but I have never in my life tried this bad of a pizza. Those reviews are paid for or something. Filter by the lowest rating and you get actual reviews. Guess its the power of advertising on social media. I was livid… and went back for a refund that was provided، and asked the owner (I presume) to try a bite of his own pizza… he refused claiming I poisoned it. I wanted him to try it، because I couldn’t understand how can it be so awful، maybe there was some new employee that accidentally messed up the order or something. But he said he made it، and even he couldn’t eat his food. And I have been coming to this place before the new owners all the time، and I got back in town this place has changed owners and name. The old place was awesome with great food. In the end had to drive down to “a slice of heaven pizza” down few blocks and reorder another pie.
