Needed some exhaust work including a new muffler for my '53 Customline and Jim knocked it out of the park. He walked me through a few options he had in stock and I went with his recommendation of the classic GT muffler that went perfect with the original low compression flathead. He even had the period correct exhaust tip on the shelf، but he made the less flashy turndown tip I wanted instead. His prices are so reasonable، I had the opposite sticker shock I was expecting when he gave me his quote for the parts and work. He was careful and gentle with the car like it was his own so I had no concerns about leaving it with him. I showed up to my appointment with a car that sounded like a boat engine out-of-water and left with exactly the kind of refined rumble I wanted in the time it took to have a relaxing brunch around the corner. The car runs noticably better now and Jim even suggested a parts store where I was able to buy some hard to find classic parts. Overall، I love the car even more now and I couldn't be happier that I came to Monterey Muffler!
