Tried this gem for the first time today. It was absolutely delicious. Chicken was seasoned so wonderfully!! And this plate was less than 15$! Definitely will be back. If you’re debating on giving this place a try، you should!

My first and last visit at Ms.Dees kitchen and I am so disappointed to even write this review because my coworkers and I were really excited to try this great ran black owned business . I came in and ordered a rib lunch special which was good، however my complete order was messed up . I was charged for the dinner special and although I ordered the lunch، I felt like it was on purpose because i was never given a receipt even when i asked about pricing and was told that's what I ordered . I also ordered a lemonade and as sides cabbage and Mac and cheese . I believe they just gave me what they had instead of what I ordered which upset me because I ended up with a sweet tea ، and Lima beans in my box instead and an upcharge all not to be satisfied . As a black woman who loves to support black businesses ، it hurts me to know some business are not about customer service and pleasing the people that pay and to maintain loyal customers and grow but just about profit and their own benefit . I wish I had a better experience because I wanted to make this my permanent lunch place

True old South soul food. Owner is very friendly and she can cook up some delicious food. This isn't a swanky place so if that's what you want maybe go to a large chain restaurant but anyone who loves to explore and tantalize the palette understands that these are the small privately owned little diamonds to visit. We will be back.

Went to Ms. Dees by recommendation from a client. The food was amazing! The sweet tea was the best I ever had and the meatloaf and sides were awesome! If you're missing New Times Buffet then this is the place for you. My friends said the fried chicken was out of this world as well. The eating area was clean with sanitizer on each table and clean napkins. Can say enough and will be back again; many times.
