Over Easy Cafe

What a fantastic little place to dine. My wife and I dined in twice here for breakfast during our 6/20/26 one-week getaway on Sanibel Island and we highly recommend this cafe. The friendly staff are amazing. Their breakfast options are incredibly delicious! Seating is indoors or outside. Competitively priced. Good portions. I really liked their French toast and their blackberry cobbler is SO yummy!! Gotta try that cobbler!! Can’t wait to return to Sanibel to try more of their menu. Their products and service is top notch. This cafe is also conveniently located next to various shops.

Awesome place to eat on the island. Love the new location and look. Ample seating inside and out. They even have water and coffee outside if you’re waiting for a table. Great unique menu with fabulous choices. Prices are great for the island. Great servers، atmosphere and food. There is even a nice gift shop. Parking close by and many other shops to pass the time after you eat.

A wonderful place for a family breakfast while on vacation! Our 8-month-old screamed her joy about being awake and nobody made us feel like she was a bother، were very attentive with prompt service، and the food was excellent! The crab and asparagus omelet was a very different sort of breakfast but was extremely well made with tender asparagus. The mugs were also adorable!

Over Easy Cafe was the pick for breakfast on Sanibel Island، and it lived up to the reputation the locals give it. The French toast platter was the standout، a generous portion of thick cut bread cooked evenly، crisp on the edges and custardy in the middle، served with a clean side setup that rounded the plate out. The price landed well under what most beach town cafes charge for the same dish، which made the value obvious before the first bite. What pulled the whole visit together was the music. A steady rotation of 50s easy listening played at the right volume، not background filler but not loud enough to cut into conversation either. It gave the place a timeless feel that matched the small island pace outside. Service kept up even as the room filled، plates came out hot، and the coffee refills arrived without me having to flag anyone down. If you are on Sanibel and want breakfast that actually delivers، this is the one to put on the list. Everything about the Over Easy Cafe is well thought out and very well done. The service was fantastic، the food was extremely good، the portion sizes were huge، and the pricing was extremely fair. The restaurant was very clean and there were plenty of options to choose from on the menu. If you’re on the islands and are looking for a banger of a restaurant to eat breakfast at، this is the one for you! 10/10، would recommend to a friend.
