Ritz Dogs

The Ritz is my favorite bar in Jacksonville beach by far especially for watching sports. All the bartenders are lovely and the drinks are affordable. It’s a great place to meet!

I came here with my boyfriend and the doorman flat-out refused to let him in for no reason، no explanation. He just said “no.” Then he let other people in right after us without saying a word. It was humiliating and completely unacceptable. It’s 2025 and this kind of behavior shouldn’t exist anywhere. If this is the kind of people they choose to hire، I wouldn’t spend a single dollar here. Also they cops that were there was sad excuses of cops. They acted like they couldn’t do anything. Felt like I was back in a liberal start where there no freedom.

Do not go here. The male staff were threatening to my wife. A black male worker made her feel unsafe and threatened. I tried to find out who the owner is to report it but they would not tell me. If I can't speak with them I will be filing a police report for sexual harassment by that staff member.

This spot was the our second stop that night and our last. It was awesome in there! Everyone was dancing it was great. No issues with no one and the DJ had a good mix that night. Wish he played some house، then again... I did arrive a little late 😎

Wouldn't let my friend in because she didn't have her spouse with her to verify her dependent military ID. I know each establishment can have their own rules but it's literally harder to get a military ID than a drivers license. Please make it make sense. When asked if they can make an exception they told us there's a cop right there that's watching us. We proceed to ask the cop and he said I there is no law prohibiting the use of dependent mil ID but the establishment can refuse if they please (even the cop was dumbfounded when we came up to him with the issue). The establishment straight out lied on top of everything that went on. Don't blame the cop for your dumb rules and it's also not 1813 women don't need there spouse for verification. Do not spend your money here.
