Alex is wonderful. She does a beautiful balayage and gets it done quickly. Prices are super reasonable، especially for being located on the beach. Consistent and beautiful every time. She’s been doing my hair for about 3 years now.

This is the best salon in Jax. The owner is amazing، super down to earth and chill. My hair is thick and fine، kind of difficult to work with. She would have me out of there in 2 hours (normally my hair takes 4+) and it would be exactly what I wanted! I moved to Michigan 3 years ago and still haven't found anyone as good as this one. 😭 I would trust them with cut، color، highlights، etc. 10/10!

My daughter scheduled a balayage and haircut at Salon Cashmere more than three weeks in advance because she was traveling from out of town and needed it done before an important family engagement party. As a new customer، I specifically requested a consultation. I was told the consultation would be completed before the appointment، typically about a week in advance، to ensure enough time was reserved for the service. Unfortunately، no consultation ever took place. The appointment was scheduled for a Saturday، and after not hearing from anyone، I decided to contact stylist Grace myself on the Tuesday before the appointment. My first call was not returned. After reaching out again، Grace requested photos of my daughter's hair. Only then was it determined that additional time would be needed because the service would require both a balayage and color correction. I completely understand that some services require more time than originally anticipated. My frustration is that this could have been identified weeks earlier had the promised consultation actually occurred. When I contacted the salon، I spoke with Alexis، the manager. Instead of discussing solutions، I felt the conversation was dismissive and unprofessional. The only option presented was cancellation because the originally scheduled appointment time was no longer sufficient. At no point did I feel there was any real acknowledgment that the salon's failure to conduct the promised consultation contributed to the situation. I also spoke with Julie regarding the appointment. By this point، however، the appointment was being canceled the day before the scheduled service، leaving virtually no opportunity to find another salon capable of accommodating a balayage and color service on such short notice. As a result، my daughter attended an important family engagement party without having her hair done as planned. For a teenage girl who had been looking forward to this appointment for weeks، it was understandably upsetting. Mistakes happen in every business. What customers remember is how those mistakes are handled. Had the consultation been completed as promised، this entire situation likely could have been avoided. Instead، the lack of communication، day-before cancellation، and dismissive response from management turned what should have been an exciting experience into a very disappointing one.

I followed my stylist Amanda T. (there are two Amanda's that work here، so you have to say last initial) from her previous salon to this one. She has been doing my color and extensions for the last 6 years and I will follow her anywhere!!! I loved the atmosphere at this salon and as always she did amazing on my hair! Love her. 💘

Amanda is amazing. I go to her for cuts، color، and styling and she always blows me away. I have super thick، frizzy، long hair and I don't know how she does it but she is able to make it gorgeous every. Single. time. Salon itself is clean، friendly، and inviting. I would recommend salon cashmere and specifically Amanda a 100 times over to anyone.
