Sata Empanada

Stopped and got some empanadas late on a Sunday night. The owner or I assume is the owner was the nicest man I’ve ever met. From Iran. Gave me some free lentil soup which was the best damn soup I’ve ever had in my life. The empanadas were amazing as well. Make sure you stop and give it a try. Make sure you keep your eye out for it. You’ll miss it if you’re not paying attention. Right next to a bridal boutique

Tucked into the western side of Dale Mabry between Waters and Lambright is Sata Empanada which offers Mediterranean Empanadillas which differ from their latino counterparts in that the spices، fillings and the olive oil based crust are different. The empanadas are tasty، budget friendly، fresh and packed savory fillings. Favorites thus far are the beef، pizza and apple pie. The gentlemen behind the window was friendly، warm، kind and polite. He gave out a sample of a very flavorful lentil soup he sells. There is no entry، orders taken and filled through a window. 2 picnic tables are provided with partial cover for those who would eat outside. The food is mostly "to go" and the product is individually packed and labeled. The food travels well، still fresh and warm when I got home. Definitely worth a try، open on Sunday، I will return for more. Come get ya some.

THE BEST empanado's in Tampa!! Our first time eating here and we will definitely return The owner is super nice and friendly!! The yummy empanados are freshly made as you wait. We tried the beef and spinach with cheese. Both stuffed with goodness and the crust is perfect 👌. Very reasonably priced also. We also had the lentil soup، which we were given a free sample. Who doesn't like free Samples? It was the best ever and made by Grandma!! There is outside sitting only but there is plenty of shade and lots of parking spots.

Was on my way home when the Sata sign caught my attention، owner was incredibly sweet and was projecting happy vibes. I got 5 empanadas which took about 10 minutes to prepare. The owner was kind enough to offer a sample of the lentil soup، which was absolutely delicious. Very kind and generous owner he، highly recommended. Empanadas were both affordable and tasty، my personal favorite was the sausage empanada، with a touch of hot sauce. If you’re in the area you must give it a visit.

This was my first time trying Sata Empanas on Dale Mabry. I had the beef and the chicken one. They were both delicious and the portion size was great. The shell was fried well with no burnt spots like sometimes occurs on other places where I’ve gotten an Empanada. I also tasted the lentil soup and it was very flavorful. The owner was really personable and courteous. The prices were really reasonable. You can get items to go or you can sit at one of the two small tables outside as there’s no indoor dining. I recommend this place.
