Sunrise Sunset Coffee

Love this place. Excellent food and coffee and jammed on a Sunday afternoon. Delish healthyish options and decent amount of seating- esp once it’s warmer and back patio opens.

Wow! Love this place. Food was delicious. And this place is also a great coffee shop and full bar. Worth a stop I you are in the area. The barista/bartender was super friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Sunrise/Sunset is such a staple for the neighborhood. This place is so lovely and the staff is wonderful! However، it's pretty unacceptable for a barista to stand out front on the benches، smoke a cigarette and return to work WITHOUT washing his hands. We observed him immediately walk back inside، and start touching the coffee machine، syrups، and making orders. Beyond unsanitary.

As a someone who lives just around the block، Sunrise Sunset has become one of my staple coffee shops، and I have quickly become a regular. Let me preface this by saying I have worked in the restaurant/customer service industry for 5 years، and always try to give the benefit of the doubt! The food is delicious (albeit long wait times). I highly recommend the Biscuits and Mushroom Gravy! The vibe is super cute، and feels very homey/neighborhoody، which I love! The only issue I have comes down to service، and it is SO hit or miss. The curly headed barista and the blonde short haired barista are always lovely، friendly، and make me feel appreciated for supporting Sunrise Sunset on a regular basis. There is one barista، however، who is incredibly rude and off-putting. I have interacted with him on 3 separate occasions، and each one was very unpleasant. First off، each time I have visited and he is at the register، I am immediately greeted with a look of disdain and annoyance. When I approach the counter، I am lucky to even get a "hello". Most of the time، he sits there and just looks at me until I say what I want to order. After I place my order (which is always a black cold brew، one of the simplest drinks to make)، he says nothing، rolls his eyes، and gestures to the ipad for me to leave a tip. I am sorry if you had a busy morning or your day has not been great، but to experience this on 3 separate occasions is baffling، especially if you gesture for me to tip you and expect it! Part of customer service and hospitality is greeting people upon entry، and trying to make them feel welcome. If that isn't possible with certain employees، I just don't really know what to say. I thought maybe this was just an issue with me، but I have had multiple friends say they had similar if not worse experiences with this same barista. I truly do like this place a lot، and hope to see it improve further، as I want to keep it in my regular rotation!

I got SCARED I walked in to the storefront / cafe and I did not see breakfast anywhere. I then realized it just opened lol . I love the music the vibe and the coffee ......... great biscuits and gravy and a side of sausage ...... very inexpensive and the place is perfect ... look at the school chairs ! So hipster
