Sweet Leaf Tea Lounge

The first time I went here it was really good. I had an amazing strawberry matcha and sampled a few other flavors that were all delicious. Their boba is really nice and chewy and good every time. However، the last few times I went it's been the same lady working there who doesn't speak English and seems to make the same thing no matter what you order. It seems like she's just putting milk and boba in a cup with no flavoring. My friend and I went and ordered the red bean matcha and there was no matcha in it. She is very nice but doesn't seem to know the recipes or understand what you are ordering.

Yuck! I used to come here all the time when they first opened but now I don't know what the hell happened. I ordered the jasmine sea salt milk tea. Disgusting! The jasmine isn't strong enough so you can't even taste it buried under a flurry of milk and copious amounts of heavy cream. My beverage is white. It's supposed to be green with a thin layer of foam. I went in to exchange it for something else as I already paid $8. The young lady acted like I wanted a free drink. Ma'am I wanted to exchange my disgusting beverage. I only had one sip. There wasn't even in boba in it.

Honestly pretty bad. The boba was deformed، way too big، and super soggy. Chewing it felt like chewing a tasteless gummy bear، not boba. The tea itself had almost no flavor، which made the whole drink even worse. On top of that، it was over $8 for one cup… easily one of the most expensive boba teas I’ve had، and also one of the worst. Definitely not worth it.

This place is wonderful! I’m so glad to have found it. We drove almost half an hour to give it a try while on vacation and it was worth it. Jessie was fantastic and so nice. My son and I like trying bubble tea shops all over and he thinks it may have been his favorite taro milk tea so far. The decor and vibes are cute there too. Check it out!

Great vibes and a chill spot to hang out! First time visiting I tried the sunset fruit tea، and it’s such a sweet treat. The staff are so friendly and personable، it feels very welcoming. I also got some decor inspiration for my apartment just looking around the store! Highly recommend for the cafe aficionados in Pompano
