The Bada Bean

Great place for breakfast! I have not eaten lunch or dinner there; the skillets are on point it’s a bit pricey expect to spend around $25 for a skillet with coffee after tip. The skillets are great size portions and very delicious! Every server I’ve had at the restaurant has been a great server. Go try them out you will not be disappointed.

First time trying The Bada Bean. We had just traveled & needed breakfast. Wanted something different. We got a breakfast sandwich & breakfast burrito. With an order of home fries & two orders of cheese grits. With a Tiger Iced Chai، & hot Coffee. Everything was excellent & service was great. Definitely recommend.

The décor leans hard into a Prohibition-era cosplay: “WANTED: Moonshine Runner” posters، Bogart stills، and enough memorabilia to make you wonder if there’s a secret password at the door. A plant or two wouldn’t hurt; something alive to balance out all the sepia-toned nostalgia. Still، it’s very Tallahassee: a true local hangout that feels like stepping into a slightly overcommitted version of Americana past. Parking is … an adventure. The shared lot (maybe 50 spots?) turns into a low-stakes hunger games depending on the hour. Got lucky and snagged a bench inside. The patio، which overlooks the parking lot، offers a different vibe: less “charming brunch” and more “watching cars circle like vultures.” Wait staff were attentive and efficient، even in the rush. Not a lot of small talk; more of a “we’re in this together، let’s survive brunch” energy. Overheard someone declare، “Best omelette I’ve had in a long time!” about the Meat Lover’s Omelette، which felt like a bold statement in a room full of eggs. The Loaded Benedict lived up to the moment: savory، light، and actually filling without knocking you out. Home fries were crispy and seasoned like someone in the kitchen cares. The Snickers mocha coffee? Sweet enough to make your dentist flinch، but yeah … it hits. The self-service coffee station looked clean and organized: rare، beautiful، and slightly suspicious in the best way.

This seems like a very local sort of place. Everybody was friendly and more than half the people coming in got greeted by name. The food was just wonderful. I got the loaded Benedict and John got the Bada Breakfast، which consisted of French toast، eggs، bacon، and sausage. My Benedict had bacon، avocado، and tomato as well as a lovely hollandaise sauce. I am so glad we found this place and you should go eat there، but go early. It's very popular!

What a great place! I live in neighborhood. Some acquaintances told me about this place. Great staff، friendly، polite، Coffee is great، I like that I get coffee while waiting for my table. About a 10 wait، fantastic daily specials scrumptious breakfast، Buda special: I got the Blueberry pancakes، scrambled eggs with cheese and I chose sausages patties. I highly recommend.
