The Breakroom Pizza & Subs

I'm from Chicago، and the pizza situation down here is pretty bleak for transplants like me. Everywhere is New York style pizza! Not a big fan. Im sure most East Coasters think I'm crazy، but I enjoyed 55 years of Chicago style pizza، and 12 years of NY style has not changed my mind. But. The Breakroom pizza is very good. Kinda New Yorky، but not obnoxiously so. Good flavor. Good crust that doesn't feel like it wants to pick a fight with my teeth. I'd like more cheese and toppings for the price، but I am and will remain a regular pick-up customer.

$6.50 Walk in special for 2 slices and can of soda! The crust was nice، crispy، and not too thick. Their Garlic knots are incredible! The diced garlic tasted so fresh، and the red sauce was delicious. I personally like a firm but soft garlic knot، not when the knot is so hard it almost hurts to bite into، and this was exactly that! A nice crunch with that soft delicious inside. (You know، when it's cooked all the way but doesn't cut into your gums from biting into it). Overall، I was very satisfied with the interior and dining experience. They have nice furniture، decor، a good amount of dining space، and awesosome staff. Apparently they make their own mozzarella sticks and bread for their subs، so we look forward to coming back for one of those.

They make a hell of a sausage and pepper sandwich on homemade sub roll toasted to perfection. I have also had their meatball sub which was also delicious. Service is also friendly and attentive. Also you can apparently have food brought over to the adjacent bar if that's your thing. Highly recommend.

I love this place. I stop in once a week and am in a wheelchair they always go out of the way to make me comfortable and welcomed. The food is always consistent and very good. I even ordered delivery and the food was just as hot and good as if I was in the restaurant. I absolutely love the chili cheese fries، order them every time. Well worth the money and time.

A review does not do this place justice. Has to be the best pizza in psl. Went with a friend from NY and they said it was top notch، whatever thats worth. A top 3 pizza of all time for me. And I live off the stuff.
