The Cavern

Stumbled on this place tonight after a mediocre experience elsewhere after googling “bars near me”. So glad we found this place!! The owner، Aaron، was so welcoming، as was everyone in the establishment…and they had a Belgian Triple on tap which makes it even better. They have 32 beers on tap - lots of variety for all tastes. They do all sorts of events from Beer Shares to Trivia nights…they also have a Networking night. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to trying out their food on my next visit.

First time in، not the last. Let's start with my new buddy Tyler. Knowledgeable. One thing I like to do is dealer's choice. His picks were on point. The fact that just about everything on tap I had was amazing didn't hurt but he knew his stuff. Not to mention he mentioned they put time and effort into picking their tap list and it absolutely shows. One of the few places with mead on tap in north Jax which is what lured me here. So glad I finally made it. Now let's talk about chef in the back. Give chef a raise، a team and a bigger kitchen cause they threw down. I grabbed the sampler with barbecue، brick and hatch chili burgers and woo boy I did not expect the hatch chili burger to be it but، hands down my favorite. All the burgers were good but wife had the Brick burger and the ratio was better than the sliders so I liked it better in full form. Overall excellent experience. Food was excellent and the drink selection was on point. New regulars for sure.

A great place to explore different beers and meet new people. The bartender is awesome. He keeps things fun and lively. Their food is good too.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting my daughter. It just happened to be the weekend of the Jags/Bill's playoff game. I started at the local Bill's Backers bar on Saturday night (as a lifelong Bills fan، why not?) It was way too crowded for me so I left and stumbled on this place up the street. Saw the sign that says just "PUB" outside and the tent sign advertising pierogis on my way in and thought this place was right up my alley. Almost turned around when I saw the vast selection of craft beers - I'm a cheep beer girl، give me a Miller Lite I'm happy. But they had Ultra on tap، so I was good!! The craft beer selection was quite good، and there were several things I would try if I was in the mood! It was a wonderful atmosphere، the staff was very friendly and the folks at the main bar were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and the potato pierogi (which are handmade every day!!) And it DID NOT disappoint!! I had such a great time I decided to go with my daughter the next day and watch the game and have more perogies!! As 1 of the only 2 Bill's fans in the place watching the game - I still felt overwhelmingly welcome. Service was excellent again. Only complaint، tried to order more pierogi to take back to my daughters place and they were out (to be expected when they are homemade daily!) So I'm back again today، having my (admittedly lame) Mich Ultra waiting for my order of to-go pierogi for the 3rd day in a row. (And for reference، I'm a pollack from Buffalo who spent her youth making pierogi with my grandma every time she came to visit using her great grandmother's recipe. These are legit.)

As a person who loves to Cook and appreciates good food this place was hands down amazing! The owner is friendly and the food is fresh and oooh so good! If y’all want an amazing burger go check it out. He has some different spins on the ingredients in the burgers. I recommend the Hatch if you like spicy and the Brick if you like a little sweet and savory! The prices are just right as well!
