The Crafted Pie at Sailfish Brewery

Such a cool place! Old school arcade games inside، just really open area inside and out that creates the perfect kind of vibe. Food was fantastic، I always try something that sounds unfamiliar than the everyday stuff. Was not disappointed.

Great spot. Very dog friendly. Pizza was good. Lots of variety in the beer. A small hiccup with food but Carolina quickly took care of us and made it right.

I think maybe my expectations for a brewery that serves food is different than what these guys are going for. I’m used to the Midwest where a brewery that also serves food tends to serve amazing food whether burgers، pizza، nachos، whatever they focus on to go with their beers. This place was much more a bar (that has great beer and drinks، fun atmosphere) that serves bar food. I was there on a Monday night، bingo night، and the energy was high، lots of fun، families (even young kids). You have to go to the bar to order drinks and food. They give you the drinks right away and ask where you’re sitting so they can bring the food out. We waited an hour for our food and even then، we only got food because I went to the kitchen to ask about it. We ended up with someone else’s pizza، or they just made ours wrong (wrong toppings). It was also completely mediocre، like a good frozen pizza، if that’s a thing. So go for the fun، the drinks، the atmosphere. But don’t go hungry.

I visited Sailfish Brewing Compnay recently، and the experience was underwhelming. For a place where half the menu is dedicated to pizza، running out of pizza dough was a major letdown. We ordered wings instead. They were crispy and had a pleasant sweet sauce، but overall were quite dry. The portabella flatbread was overly salty and not enjoyable—my husband، who rarely leaves food unfinished، didn’t finish his portion. Drinks were average. In fairness، I didn’t order beer، and since this is a brewery، that may have been my mistake. If you’re not a beer drinker، good options are limited، and non-beer drinks felt like a 3 out of 5. Also، note there’s a surcharge for using a credit card، so bring cash. On the positive side، the wait staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately، the poor food overshadowed the good service. Overall، unless you’re going strictly for the beer، I would not recommend Sailfish Brewing Company.
