The Huntsman

Went to Huntsman w/ my boyfriend and our server Luis was amazing! He was very helpful when deciding what food choices to get and was very attentive to our needs. He had a great personality and made the atmosphere very enjoyable. The appetizer (pickled veggies) and fried onions were amazing and great portions. My meal (axis deer filet) was so tender and rich، and my side of mash potatoes really topped it all off. Overall، the experience was very good and worth it، would definitely come back :)

I cannot even begin to say how much I love this place. I studied at Florida State for all of undergraduate and this was always my special occasion spot. The food never fails and is beyond spectacular. The dishes are so unique and I love that each time I come back the whole menu swaps. I am a big foodie and am always interested by unique dishes. The rabbit curry was hands down the best curry dish I have ever had. You truly cannot go wrong with anything you order here. On top of it all، the service here is always above and beyond. I have never had a server who did not exceed expectations. This past time، my boyfriend and I had dinner served by Luis who was knowledgeable، kind، and attentive. We hope to see him again!!!

I came here for a birthday dinner and had an AMAZING experience. The customer service، food، and ambiance were excellent. The food is pricey but it was worth it. Our waiter، Luis، was so hospitable and kind. He was so knowledgeable on the wines and different meals that were on the menu. I have found my new spot in Tallahassee. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Our lovely anniversary dinner unfortunately got interrupted by one of my husband’s notorious chronic migraines. Our waiter (unfortunately due to the commotion I have forgot his name) was so prompt and understanding. I got our bill and our boxed remaining courses very quickly. For what we were able to enjoy in person، the service was wonderful، drinks amazing، and food to absolutely die for. Hopefully we can come again when we are in good health and can enjoy the whole experience in person.

Everything was incredible. Atmosphere، waiters، and food! We luckily booked our reservation on a quieter day/time، so we were well waited on. As it was our first time، my husband and I decided to go big and get the 5-course Hunter Tasting Experience which was amazing! Every dish brought something different and unique. Things wouldn’t normally pick to eat on their own، but paired throughout the tasting، they all worked so well together! There isn’t a kid’s menu، but our kiddo was well taken care of as well. They ordered the Seafood Cioppino which was out of this world. Cameron، our waiter، was so kind and fun and knowledgeable as well.
