The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel

Samuel Allen is a true master of hospitality. I recently treated my friend and I to a spa day here. Samuel’s guidance transformed our visit from a routine beauty appointment into a seamless، elevated journey for her and I. He was incredibly accommodating and explained the amenities، making us feel completely at home. The spa is luxurious and relaxing with an ocean facing view. You can tell he truly cares about the comfort of the guest experience. He is the gold standard of care. We will be back next month.

So it’s hard to give 5 stars because the spa attendants overtly make the experience awkward، uncomfortable & they don’t want you there vibe is hard to ignore. Better believe I try to ignore it. I’ve never been checked on more by spa attendants ever . I’ve also come here many times & always have an off kilter feeling leaving. Like that was bizarre. They have mixed messaging the attendants don’t want you there every move you make it’s watched & no matter what private area you're in. I’ll get a knock on the door while I’m in the shower، she’ll find me in every room & not just glance but come over & bother me. It’s bizarre. There no respect or boundaries. I’ve paid money to use the area... the spa facilities. It’s apart of the purchase. If people are not allowed or wanted to use to rooms. Don’t offer it and I won’t spend $360. The massages therapists do a good enough job but though the massages tend to be good، they tend not be great or even close to great... more like everyone has a very different style and no consistency over all. The spa itself is gorgeous... so try it but expect to be monitored & as soon as you visit your locker anticipate her eagerness to wish you farewell. Honestly the sad thing is that I'm one of those guest who could stay here overnight easy. I personally prefer the 1hotels vibe more but when I come here and have bad experiences. It makes it So hard for me to feel excited about booking a room. It's like if I'm spending 2k a night. I need to treated like a high value guest no matter if I'm staying overnight or not. To be honest I won't be back. It's a very odd vibe here.

10/10. My sister and I had 90-minute deep tissue massages with highly skilled therapists. The treatment rooms overlooked the ocean. The spa itself was quaint but very clean and well decorated. The spa attendant on duty، Nadine، was very attentive and checked on us numerous times. She even came into the steam room to give us canned water. We will be back!

Have been here on numerous occasions and would argue that it’s the second best spa in miami after faena. Was here just a few days ago for a facial and am disappointed with the service/results. The positives as most reviews have stated are true. The space itself is stunning and the receptionists/attendants are graceful and kind. I’ve done both massage/facials here and would say to go for a massage over a facial. The negatives are that، the aestheticians/facial services themselves، need work and better etiquette training. The snacks are mediocre (nothing special or luxurious) and I’m unsure why they got rid of the delicious orange madeline’s they had for years — those were the best. There are chaise lounges you relax before/after service - they were all occupied when my friend and I arrived، and the attendants were slow to get the previous guests tea/snacks cleaned up when they left so we weren’t sure if the chairs were still occupied. We only had a few minutes to enjoy the chaise lounges before our service started. In the past they have brought fresh fruit skewers after service and that did not happen this time unfortunately. I had a 75 minute BR facial with E. Gita a few days ago. She was sweet but something I found off was that no products were used on my neck/décolleté area throughout my service. This is standard for any facial and I found that to be negligent for a $400+ treatment. Definitely not the case anywhere else. The room was too cold، she didn’t ask if I wanted the shades down، bed warmer on، sunscreen at the end، small details yes but overall adds up to make the experience. Just wasn’t attentive to my preferences and for me، that is part of what you pay for. The personalization and customization. Lastly، the results of this facial have left me disappointed. My skin is irritated، inflamed، and looks worse than when I went in. I don’t want to blame her for this as skin is unpredictable at times، however، I get facials every other week and have never left with these types of results. I’m hoping it calms down in the next few days but I don’t feel comfortable going back for a facial when the adequate BR training is not there. To me، luxury is in the finer details. Perhaps I caught the spa on an off day but for that price point، it shouldn’t be happening. Go for a massage over a facial.

This was my self care splurge. I do pole fitness and wear heels in my job so my shoulders، hips and lower back are always wrecked. Typically massages are WAY too ticklish so I never waste money on them but I was determined to get my life right. I forgot the name of my therapist but she was MAGICAL. The only massage therapist who’s been able to meet my needs fully. I went in expecting a typical massage only fancier. She combined trigger point massage and sports massage to leave my hips feeling and back feeling like brand new. Access to the sauna and showers was very nice as well، exceptionally clean facility with the perfect atmosphere if you like quiet، luxurious and spacious spas. Big thanks to the whole staff for making me feel so special. I’ll be back next time I’m in Miami!
