The Underground Pizza

Very cool place! We got the spicy wings first. They did not lie about the spice! In a good way. Then we got a small thin crust and a small deep dish to try. Both were very tasty. Good prices too. The service was good—- two young folks were busting their butt running around waiting on everyone— working very hard. We really didn’t have to wait for anything. The deep dish took a long time but it says it on the menu and our server told us what to expect. There was a guy playing the guitar — he was very good as well. Made for an awesome experience! Can’t wait to go back.

WOW!!! 🤩 Super local، super delicious!! We had so much fun here; the music is great، the service was very hospitable، and of course the food stole the show! Large Pelegrino with their large deep dish Margherita pizza، and we added their famous whipped ricotta on top. Takes a bit to cook، but you don't rush art like this - premium ingredients، too! Yes indeed، check them out and you just might love them like we did! Looking forward to our next visit!

Underground Pizza is a true hidden gem. Their deep-dish pizzas are outstanding، always fresh and made to order. We also highly recommend the meatballs، wings، and salads. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly، and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. My wife and I will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended!

I recently tried Underground Pizza، and looking at the deep-dish style، you can immediately see the dedication to a heavy، hearty build. There is definitely a lot to appreciate about what they are doing here، but a few details held it back from being a flawless experience. Providence ​ ​From-Scratch Quality: It’s honestly amazing that they make everything completely from scratch. You can tell they utilize fresh ingredients، and the overall flavor profile of the sauce and crust was genuinely good. ​Strong Service Under Pressure: We visited on a Friday night، and despite the fact that they actually ran out of several food supplies during the peak rush، the staff managed to keep the place running pretty strong. Kudos to the team for handling a stressful situation well. ​ Room for Improvement ​Price Point: For a pizza، it felt a little too pricey for what you ultimately get. ​Proportion Issues: The ingredient ratios were unfortunately off. The proportions were inconsistent، and in some bites، I got way too much cheese at once—to the point where it felt like a legitimate choking hazard. A more even distribution across the slices would go a long way. ​Overall، The foundation is there with fresh، scratch-made components and a resilient crew، but the execution on proportions and the high price tag make it a mixed bag. Worth a try for the flavor، but go in expecting a few inconsistencies.

Heard a lot of great things about this place and wanted to try it out. Tried the wings، Cesar salad and built my own deep dish pizza. The wings and Cesar salad were so good that I would order those again. The pizza، I have mixed feelings about. I loved the crust but the toppings were not scattered throughout and the tomato sauce on top was lacking flavor. Maybe I'm used to a more robust tomato sauce، but it needed something. The service was friendly and the place was very clean.
