The service and atmosphere fell flat. I gave Toasted Cafe a try on my neighbor’s recommendation، but it didn’t beat my usual favorite spot which is First Watch. The portions are generous، so you won’t leave hungry. If you’re just looking for a big plate of food، you’ll get your money’s worth there. The food itself was OK، and honestly pricier than First Watch، which surprised me. The coffee wasn’t great. The place is small and feels outdated، and it was uncomfortably hot inside – maybe the AC was working right that day.... Service was the biggest letdown. Kathy was our server and she wasn’t very personable. She mostly talked to my neighbor and ignored me and my daughter. She checked if my neighbor liked the food but never looked in my direction. Not a good look when you’re dining with a kid. Overall، it’s fine if you’re nearby and want a big portion، but between the price، the heat، and the service، I probably won’t go back.
