Tony's Ramtechs

This is the best auto repair shop I have ever been to. The employees are thorough kind and transparent! I have gone to them multiple times for various services and they don’t BS you on anything، recommend this place to anyone looking for honest car repair prices and service!

Took my car to Tony’s Ramtechs for several issues. First was for a replacement power antenna for a 91 Firebird. They couldn’t source an aftermarket antenna (this was not their fault - they tried two different antennas that were marketed as fitting a 91 Firebird but actually didn’t). They kept me informed and only charged me for the tech’s time once. Second issue was exhaust system replacement. Work was fine، price was reasonable. Only complaint is the completely unitemized receipt. I have no idea where the parts were sourced from، who the manufacturer was، or even who did the work (they sent it out to an unspecified shop). Receipt simply states “Exhaust work.” Third issue was a coolant leak. Coolant was amber colored due to use of Bars Stop Leak by previous owner. Shop said it was a power steering leak، which I get، because the amber-colored coolant and power steering fluid are the same color، and they replaced the power steering pump and reservoir. I get the car home، park it، to find an hour later my car is continuing to drop coolant. Called the next day and they said bring it back. I bring the car back the next Monday (was picked up late Friday and they aren’t open weekends). They look at the car، tell me a hose clamp is loose and they tighten it (no charge). I pick the car up. Get the car home، park it، and it’s still leaking coolant. I am not a mechanic by any stretch of the word، but I get under the car، spend 30 minutes poking here and there، and I eventually source the leak to behind the engine block just in front of the firewall. Through Google، I isolate it to either a leaking head gasket or leak at the intake manifold. Next day I call up again and they say bring it back. I take it back a third time، and show them where it is coming from and tell them what I independently found. They call me later that day and they confirm it’s leaking at either the intake manifold or the head gasket is leaking. They aren’t sure which، but then they told me they won’t take the job because they don’t want to occupy a lift for as long as it will take to fix the car. This was disappointing because this shop came HIGHLY recommended by the body shop that painted my replacement spoiler. So now، who’s gonna fix this car? I put the word out in the Facebook 3rd Gen Firebird forums، and I was given the name of another shop. I called said shop، explained my problem، and the guy told me he would pressure test it and would be able to definitively identify the source of the leak within an hour. So I the car there. True to their word، they pressure tested the car، called me and told me I had leaks at the head gasket، intake manifold، and water pump. Long story short، the other shop fixed all my issues، was reasonably priced، gave me a completely itemized receipt، and best part، no more coolant leaks. Don’t get me wrong، they are super nice bunch of guys، and they obviously do some good work (they are always busy). They always kept me informed what was going on. But I’m giving them a 2 because although not happy with the complete lack of exhaust details، they did satisfactorily replace it، but the fact remains I had to go there far too many times، the car was not properly diagnosed، and then they refused to do the work.

I’m writing this because I wish someone had told me about Tony and RamTech before I wasted $3،200 at another shop. I originally took my Infiniti Q50 3.0 to another mechanic for a timing chain and camshaft sprocket repair. I paid $3،200 and waited FOUR months. When I got the car back، it was still throwing codes and running worse than before. They kept blaming sensors and unrelated issues instead of fixing the actual problem. When Tony and Sammy inspected the car، they found that the previous shop didn’t complete the job properly and parts of the repair were either done incorrectly or not done at all. After spending that kind of money، that felt like I got completely taken advantage of. The difference at RamTech was night and day. Tony and Sammy diagnosed the real issue and fixed it correctly and it only took them ONE DAY to fix what another shop couldn’t fix in four months. No excuses. No blaming random parts. Just real knowledge and real results. On top of that، their pricing is fair and affordable، especially compared to what I was charged before for incomplete work. They treat you like family، they’re easy to talk to، and they actually care about doing the job right. After this experience، RamTech is the only place I’m taking my car. I’ll definitely be recommending all my people to Tony’s shop. Thank you Tony and Sammy for doing what the other shop couldn’t.

I have a 2010 dodge challenger that I took to the dealer on a tow truck and they told it’s too old to work on. I went to running great and they could not fix it. After advice from a tech at Jerry I’ll dodge I took my car to Tony’s ram tech. They fixed it quickly and fairly priced. Honestly if I saw the shop I would probably just drive by. Looks are decieving. These people are amazing!!!

I took Tony a 65 Mustang to have a Vintage Air Ac kit installed. I had shopped around and even other mechanics were recommending Tony’s Ramtech for the job. He kept me informed every step of the way، did a fair amount of fabrication and was actually cheaper than any other quotes. The complicated install looks factory!!! And works like a refrigerator. Thank you so much Tony’s Ramtech. True pros!!
