Twisted Smoke BBQ

Considering the positive reviews، I decided to check this place out. The food was disappointing. By the time we got our food، everything was barely warm (we were the only ones there). The brisket was dry and can barely taste the ancho espresso crust. The sweet sticky ribs and pork belly burnt ends were dry and tough. The jalapeño cheddar sausages didn't taste like it was smoked. The cornbread was more of a cakey texture، which wasn't too bad. I've never been to a BBQ place with sides this small. The mac & cheese had no flavor (can't even taste the cheddar)، baked beans had a SPRINKLE of brisket، and the slaw is ok. Overall، the food tasted like yesterday's left overs and a bit pricey for the amount of food you get.

The food had great flavor، but the portions felt small for the price point. For what we paid، we expected more generous serving sizes. Good BBQ is hard to find in our area، and we were hoping this could become our new go‑to spot. We used to drive to Fort Lauderdale for truly excellent BBQ، but after many years our favorite place closed، so we were excited to try something new. Unfortunately، while the taste was solid، the overall value just didn’t match the cost.

I'm not usually a pulled pork fan، but after being offered a sample، I decided to give the pulled pork sandwich a try—and I'm so glad I did! It was honestly one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. The flavor was perfectly balanced، not overly sweet or drenched in sauce، just delicious. What really surprised me was how fresh the coleslaw tasted. It added the perfect crunch and freshness to the sandwich and took it to another level. The customer service was excellent as well. Since it was my first visit، he took the time to let me sample a few items before ordering، which I really appreciated. You can tell he takes pride in both his food and his customers' experience. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be back.

The ribs are good. They fall right off the bone. Have a great taste to it. Four different barbecue flavors. The mac & cheese is good. It’s creamy not dry. Collard greens were delicious. You can tell they are fresh.

Today was my first time eating Twisted Smoke BBQ and HONEY everything is GOODT! 10 out of 10. So، I got the pulled pork، brisket، apple fennel coleslaw and greens and it came with cornbread and pickles. You don't even need BBQ sauce for the pulled pork! It is so flavorful and tender! I said damn when I ate it! The brisket needed BBQ sauce but it was tender. The greens are phenomenal with a spicy and sweet flavor، the apple fennel coleslaw is crunchy and fresh and it doesn't taste like it has a mayo base. And the cornbread is so moist and good. These are the type of sides where you get mad for not having bigger portion! I got a sample of the smoked turkey and it was amazing as well. I recommend treating yourselves to this food. You might want to ask for extra sides 😂.
