Whit’s Frozen Custard

Whits used to be our family’s favorite treat spot، but something has happened since they moved locations. Very disappointed. Ordered the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Whitser and got what was basically plain vanilla custard with a little pineapple on top and some brown sugar sprinkled over it، nothing mixed in like it’s supposed to be.This is the second time this has happened to us at Whit’s Frozen Custard، so it’s clearly not a one-time mistake. Also، I had a birthday coupon for a free Whitser. I used it، checked my receipt in the car، and saw they didn’t apply it. I went back in immediately، and they told me they couldn’t fix it. The coupon expired shortly after، so I never got to use it. For the price، I want more than a cup of vanilla custard. . Not worth it. We won’t be back.

One of my favorite dessert places in the area. I'm a big fan of their daily flavors. Glad they moved to this locations. The Whitser is my go to. Their ice cream sandwiches are delicious as well.

We have been going to Whits for years in another city and usually love it but this location can improve. We have had their flavor of the day 3 different times and all three times they barely add enough of the mix ins compared to other Whit’s. Not sure if it is an employe training thing or a directive by the franchisee owner to save money but it is 90% just ice cream and way too little of the add ins. Also most Whits locations have a flavor of the week and a flavor of the day for added variety and the franchise owner of the ones in this area only offers one option a day. This new location is very busy so they should be able to add some extra flavor options like the better locations that do this in most other areas. Hope they at least improve on making the one flavor of the day they do have better if they don’t add the flavor of the week too.

Today was the perfect day to try Whit’s for the 1st time and even more now that they have relocated to Oakleaf! I believe the Hawaiian Luau might be my favorite already 🌺 😁

They are so good and they are friendly as well. They made exactly what I wanted and it was so good. The location is perfect. Very nice space and the custard always taste fresh!
