Wick N Twisted

We had a great experience at Wick-N-Twisted. Chris was nice، his assistant was nice، & the atmosphere was nice. This was my son's first time making a candle and although I did not participate، I was allowed to sit in and I learned a lot. We drove 40 minutes to try this، so being able to sit and wait for our candle to cure was ideal. And since they have a very comfortable waiting area the 1-2 hours we waited was bearable. There was complimentary popcorn and beverages for purchase including beer and wine. We will likely be back to make more candles in the future!

We visited Wicked N Twisted yesterday and had so much fun! The service was excellent، and we learned a lot about the candle-making process. Creating our own custom candles was such a fun and unique experience. Highly recommend for a girls’ outing or a fun day with friends!

I had such a great experience at Wick N Twisted! My sister and I attended a candle-making class، while her mother-in-law and I made candles and my sister chose to make wax melts. Chris was an excellent instructor—very knowledgeable، patient، and engaging. He taught us everything we needed to know about candle making، fragrance selection، and candle safety. The booking fee of $30.10 covered everything we needed for the class، and while there were optional upgrades available، there was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything extra. I appreciated having so many fragrance options to choose from، and the entire process was easy to follow، even as a first-timer. The atmosphere was welcoming، the class was informative، and it was a fun way to spend the afternoon. Being just steps away from the beach made it even better! Next time، I plan to enjoy the sand while waiting for my candle to set. I would definitely recommend Wick N Twisted to anyone looking for a unique date idea، girls’ outing، or something different to do in Jacksonville Beach. A well-deserved 10 out of 10!

I took a group of six friends visiting from out of town to Wick’n Twisted in Jacksonville Beach for a candle-making class during a girls’ weekend، and we had a fantastic time. Chris، the owner، led our class and was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. He walked us through the fragrance options، explained how different scent families work (clean vs. woodsy، etc.)، and came around frequently to smell our blends and help us refine them. Some of us were pretty indecisive، and he handled it with patience and humor. Everyone ended up really happy with their candles. The candle-making portion took about an hour and a half، and then the wax needs time to set. The candles take roughly 90-120 minutes to cool، so we used that time to drive over to the Jax Beach Pier، grab lunch overlooking the ocean، and do a little souvenir shopping before coming back to pick them up the same day. That worked out well since a couple of the ladies were heading home the next day. Prices vary depending on the vessel you choose. Mine ended up being about $40 because I selected a thicker frosted glass vessel with a bamboo lid، but there were other candle options starting around $28، plus wax melts and room sprays for less. There was a small hiccup when we arrived. It seems the reservation hadn’t been written down، so they weren’t expecting us when we arrived. We had arrived about 15 minutes early for our 11:30 time slot and had to wait outside briefly. The day was a little cooler than expected، so we walked across the street to stand in the sun while we waited. Fortunately they opened the door just after 11:30 and got us settled quickly. Chris was clearly frustrated about the mix-up and took great care of us once we were inside. The atmosphere during the class was relaxed and fun. We happened to be the only group there at the time، so Chris was very attentive and helped everyone find scent combinations they loved. Overall، it was a really enjoyable experience and something a little different to do in Jacksonville Beach. It would be great for girls’ trips، birthdays، date nights، or visitors looking for a hands-on activity. All six of us loved our candles. This will likely become one of my go-to activities when hosting out-of-town guests.
